8.5 Hours of Live Coverage Presented Across Five Days From the Pettit National Ice Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin

STAMFORD, Conn. – Jan. 4, 2022 – NBC Sports presents five days of exclusive coverage of the U.S. Olympic Speed Skating Trials across NBC, USA Network, and Peacock from the Pettit National Ice Center in Milwaukee, Wis., beginning tomorrow at 6 p.m. ET on USA Network. Five individual Olympic distances (500m, 1000m, 1500m, 3000m [women only], 5000m [men only]) and the men’s and women’s mass start events all will be contested at the Trials with the results determining the Olympic team. The U.S. is guaranteed qualifying spots for at least five women and seven men at the 2022 Winter Olympics.

The stacked field of Olympic hopefuls includes American record holder in the women’s 500m and 2018 Olympian Erin Jackson, 2018 Olympic bronze medalist and world record holder in the women’s 1000m Brittany Bowe, and two-time Olympian Joey Mantia (all of whom are natives of Ocala, Florida), and 17-year-old Jordan Stolz (Kewaskum, Wisconsin).

Opening night coverage on Wednesday features the women’s 3000m and men’s 5000m beginning at 6 p.m. ET on USA Network. The following three evenings feature the men’s and women’s 1000m, 500m, and 1500m, respectively, on USA Network. NBC and Peacock will present an hour-and-a-half of highlights coverage Sunday, getting underway at 12:30 p.m. ET. The men’s and women’s mass start mark the final events of Trials competition on Sunday at 5 p.m. ET on USA Network.

Bill Spaulding will call the Trials from Milwaukee, alongside 2006 Olympic gold medalist and three-time Olympic medalist Joey Cheek (analyst), and Todd Lewis (reporter).

STAMFORD, Conn. – Dec. 23, 2021 – The U.S. Olympic Team Trials for Ski Jumping is presented this Saturday on Christmas Day from the Olympic Jumping Complex in Lake Placid, N.Y., live at 12:30 p.m. ET on NBC and Peacock. The winner of the men’s event is guaranteed a spot on the 2022 U.S. Olympic team and the women’s winner will earn a spot on the U.S. Olympic team should the U.S. women qualify via World Cup competition in the coming weeks.

The field of Olympic hopefuls includes 2018 Olympian Kevin Bickner, Lake Placid native and four-time U.S. national champion Nina Lussi, and 21-year-old Decker Dean.

Saturday’s broadcast will feature coverage of the Nordic combined Trials, also taking place in Lake Placid, where Taylor Fletcher attempts to make a fourth Olympic team.

Play-by-play commentator Paul Burmeister will call the action on Christmas Day with analyst and three-time Olympic silver medalist Johnny Spillane, and reporter Naoko Funayama, who will be on-site in Lake Placid.

STAMFORD, Conn. – Dec. 15, 2021 – Exclusive live coverage of the U.S. Olympic Team Trials for Short Track is presented this weekend on NBC, NBCSN, and Peacock from the Utah Olympic Oval in Kearns, Utah. All three individual Olympic distances (500m, 1000m, 1500m) will be contested twice at the Trials with the results determining the Olympic team. Team Shuster, led by three of the four members of the men’s U.S. 2018 Olympic gold medal-winning team including John Shuster, Matt Hamilton, and John Landsteiner, face Team Brundidge tonight in a round robin draw at 8:30 p.m. ET on NBCOlympics.com and the NBC Sports app.

A number of PyeongChang Olympians on the women’s side will be competing, featuring Tabitha Peterson, Nina Roth, Becca Hamilton and Aileen Geving, all members of Team Peterson. Team Peterson opens draw play against Team Strouse Saturday morning at 10 a.m. ET on NBC Sports digital platforms.

Coverage of the men’s and women’s finals features two fields of six teams competing for a spot in both the men’s and women’s division to represent the U.S. at the 2022 Winter Olympics. Last month, Vicky Persinger and Chris Plys won the mixed doubles competition and will represent the U.S. at the 2021 World Curling mixed doubles qualification event in December for an opportunity to compete for Team USA at the 2022 Winter Olympics.

Men’s and women’s round robin draw coverage will continue daily through Thurs., Nov. 18 on NBC Sports digital platforms. The men’s and women’s finals, which are contested under a best-of-three format, will be presented Fri., Nov. 19-Sun., Nov. 21 on NBCSN and Peacock.

Ten teams will compete in a round-robin tournament, with the winner advancing to represent the U.S. at the 2021 World Curling mixed doubles qualification event for an opportunity to compete for Team USA at the 2022 Winter Olympics.

Coverage of the men’s and women’s finals will be presented next month, November 19-21, from Baxter Arena in Omaha, Neb., featuring two fields of six teams competing for a spot in both the men’s and women’s division to represent the U.S. at the 2022 Winter Olympics.

Mixed doubles competition will begin today through Friday with coverage of draws 1-9 on NBC Olympics digital platforms live at 1 p.m. ET. 4.5 hours of live coverage will get underway this Saturday with the first semifinal and elimination game at 1 p.m. ET on NBCSN. The second semifinal will be presented live this Sunday at noon ET on Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA. Once both semifinals are contested, the mixed doubles final will be presented live Sunday in primetime at 8 p.m. ET on NBCSN.

STAMFORD, Conn. – June 25, 2021 – NBC’s Sunday night broadcast of the women’s competition of the U.S. Olympic Team Trials for gymnastics featuring Simone Biles will begin at 8 p.m. ET/PT (LIVE ET) – 30 minutes earlier than previously scheduled – following the U.S. Olympic Team Trials for track & field (7 p.m. ET/PT on NBC).

The men’s and women’s gymnastics competition, which continues with live women’s coverage tonight at 7:30 p.m. ET on Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA and at 8 p.m. ET/PT on NBC, takes place at The Dome at America’s Center in St. Louis, Mo.

Beginning with last night’s men’s coverage, NBC Olympics will present 10 hours of gymnastics over four consecutive days and nights, including more than six hours on NBC.

In addition to streaming all 10 hours of television coverage, NBCOlympics.com and the NBC Sports app will present additional cameras on all apparatus during live coverage for a multi-view streaming experience.

Peacock will live stream tomorrow’s Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA coverage at 3 p.m. ET.

STAMFORD, Conn. – June 24, 2021 – NBC Olympics’ live coverage of the U.S. Olympic Team Trials for track & field concludes with the final four days of coverage from Eugene, Ore., beginning tonight with the women’s shot put and women’s 3000m steeplechase at 9 p.m. ET on NBCSN and Peacock.

Some event timing this weekend has been changed by USATF due to extreme heat forecast in Eugene (already reflected in chart at bottom).

Live coverage of the track & field trials concludes this Sunday, June 27, at 7 p.m. ET/PT on NBC with numerous events, including the men’s 200m and women’s 400m hurdles finals.

Peacock will live stream NBCSN coverage of the U.S. Olympic Track & Field Team Trials.

NBCOlympics.com and the NBC Sports app presents exclusive streaming coverage of select field events, including long jump, triple jump, high jump, pole vault, shot put, hammer, javelin, discus, 20km race walk, decathlon and heptathlon from Eugene.

The U.S. has topped the track & field medal standings at seven straight Games. The U.S. Olympic Trials for track & field this weekend are expected to feature 200m world champion Noah Lyles, who is attempting to make his first Olympic team. STAMFORD, Conn. – June 22, 2021 – Simone Biles highlights NBC Olympics’ live coverage of the U.S. Olympic Team Trials for gymnastics this week, which begin with the men’s competition this Thursday, June 24 at 6:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN and Peacock from The Dome at America’s Center in St. Louis, Mo.

In total, NBC Olympics will present 10 hours of gymnastics coverage over four consecutive days and nights, including more than six hours on NBC. Live coverage culminates this Sunday, June 27, with primetime coverage of the women’s second night of competition at 8:30 p.m. ET/PT on NBC.

In addition to streaming all 10 hours of television coverage, NBCOlympics.com and the NBC Sports app will present additional cameras on all apparatus during live coverage for a multi-view streaming experience.

Peacock will live stream NBCSN and Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA coverage of the U.S. Olympic Gymnastics Team Trials.

Terry Gannon (play-by-play) will call this week’s action, alongside analysts five-time Olympic medalist and 2008 Olympic all-around champion Nastia Liukin and two-time Olympic medalist Tim Daggett. Andrea Joyce will serve as the reporter. Mike Tirico and two-time Olympic medalist Laurie Hernandez will join for the women’s competitions.

The women’s team, which has won gold in the team all-around at the past two Olympic Games, is expected to be led by the most decorated American gymnast in history and four-time Olympic gold medalist Simone Biles, who won her record seventh national all-around title earlier this month and has a chance to tie or break the all-time record for gold medals won by a U.S. woman (eight). Others expected to be alongside Biles at the Team Trials include four-time world medalist Jade Carey, who has mathematically secured an individual spot for Tokyo, as well as three-time world medalist at the 2019 World Championships Suni Lee, who placed second behind Biles in the all-around at the 2021 U.S. Gymnastics Championships, and Jordan Chiles, who placed second behind Biles in the all-around at last month’s 2021 U.S. Classic. There are five Olympic spots still available for the U.S. women at Trials – four women will be chosen to compete in the team event at the Tokyo Olympics, and one additional gymnast will be selected to compete as an individual in Tokyo. Those five spots, plus Jade Carey, will comprise the U.S. women’s gymnastics Olympic delegation.

On the men’s side, Team USA is anticipated to be led 2021 U.S. all-around champion Brody Malone. Other favorites to make the four-man Olympic team include two-time Olympian and six-time U.S. all-around champion Sam Mikulak and 2017 U.S. all-around champion Yul Moldauer.  In addition to the four team spots, a fifth gymnast will be named at Trials to compete as an individual in Tokyo.

Swimming Coverage Continues NBC Olympics’ Record Coverage of U.S. Olympic Team Trials Ahead of Tokyo Olympics

STAMFORD, Conn. – June 16, 2021 – NBC Olympics’ live coverage of the U.S. Olympic Team Trials for swimming concludes with the final five nights of coverage in primetime, continuing today at 6:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN and Peacock, and 8 p.m. ET/PT on NBC from Omaha, Neb.

Coverage over the next five nights will feature qualifying heats, semifinals, and finals competition, concluding on Sunday, June 20, in primetime at 8 p.m. ET on NBC with the men’s and women’s 50m freestyle and the men’s 1,500m freestyle.

This Saturday and Sunday, live swimming trials coverage in primetime on NBC follows live U.S. Open golf and precedes U.S. Olympic Team Trials for track & field both nights.

Vying for spots on Team USA are five-time Olympic gold medalist Katie Ledecky, who could tie or break the all-time record for Olympic gold medals won by a U.S. woman (8) in Tokyo; two-time Olympic gold medalist Caeleb Dressel; four-time Olympic medalist Simone Manuel; 12-time Olympic medalist Ryan Lochte, who is trying to make his fifth team at the age of 36; and three-time Olympic gold medalist Ryan Murphy.

Ledecky (400m freestyle), Murphy (100m backstroke), Regan Smith (100m backstroke), and Lilly King (100m breaststroke) are among those who have already secured their Team USA spots this week.

Team USA looks to continue its Olympic success, having led the medal count in swimming at seven consecutive Games, including in Rio, where the team won 33 medals.

Peacock will live stream NBCSN coverage of the U.S. Olympic Swimming Team Trials.

Over the course of both waves of swimming trials, 24 hours of preliminaries coverage exclusively streams on NBCOlympics.com and the NBC Sports app.

Track & Field Coverage Continues NBC Olympics’ Record Coverage of U.S. Olympic Team Trials Ahead of Tokyo Olympics

STAMFORD, Conn. – June 15, 2021 – NBC Olympics presents live coverage of the U.S. Olympic Team Trials for track & field with more than 20 hours of qualifying, semifinals and finals coverage over eight nights from Eugene, Ore., beginning this Friday, June 18 with qualifying at 7 p.m. ET on NBCSN and Peacock, and continuing at 10 p.m. ET/PT on NBC with the finals in men’s shot put and men’s 10,000m.

Track & field coverage runs from June 18-21 and June 24-27, featuring six nights of primetime coverage on NBC. Live coverage of the track & field trials concludes on Sunday, June 27, at 7 p.m. ET/PT on NBC with numerous events, including the men’s 200m and women’s 400m hurdles finals.

This Saturday and Sunday, live track & field trials coverage in primetime on NBC follows live U.S. Open golf and U.S. Olympic Team Trials for swimming both nights.

NBC will debut the Jonas Brothers new single “Remember This” during the Track and Field trials on Friday, June 18. The song will be accompanied by a message from the Jonas Brothers and footage from some of the great moments of the Olympics and those to come.
