NBC SPORTS AND BETMGM LAUNCH PARTNERSHIP TO FEATURE BETTING INTEGRATIONS DURING NFL SEASON

STAMFORD, Conn. (Sept. 21, 2022) – NBC Sports and BetMGM, a leading sports betting operator, today announced a new partnership for the 2022 NFL season, highlighted by weekly integrations on Football Night in America (FNIA) and content across other NBC Sports platforms.

BetMGM integrations on FNIA, the most-watched studio show in sports, will include a weekly segment hosted by former NFL quarterback Chris Simms and sports betting and fantasy pioneer Matthew Berry, which highlights storylines and betting odds for the upcoming Sunday Night Football game on NBC, Peacock and Universo. Real-time betting odds on the scoring ticker during FNIA also will be showcased. Peacock Sunday Night Football Final, an NFL postgame show produced by NBC Sports, will also go deep on the storylines and BetMGM betting lines that proved prominent during the matchup.

STAMFORD, Conn. (Sept. 14, 2022) – Jay Croucher, who has built a strong betting following in the U.S. as head of trading for PointsBet, has joined NBC Sports full time as a betting analyst.

As lead betting analyst, Croucher will share his expertise on all things sports betting, from futures to finding value in the daily and weekly markets across all sports. Croucher made his first official appearance today as co-host of Bet the Edge, NBC Sports EDGE’s daily sports betting podcast, on the NFL on NBC YouTube channel and available for download on all major podcast platforms. In addition to Bet the Edge, he regularly joins Matthew Berry as a co-host of Fantasy Football Happy Hour with Matthew Berry, weekdays at Noon ET on Peacock and Fantasy Football Pregame with Matthew Berry, Sundays at 11 a.m. ET on Peacock.

Free-To-Play NBC Sports Predictor App Will Expand Game Offerings Over Next Two Years

STAMFORD, Conn. – Jan. 19, 2021 – NBC Sports and Boom Sports today announced a multi-year partnership renewal for Boom Sports to continue as NBC Sports’ free-to-play gaming technology partner.

With the extension, NBC Sports Predictor, the highly-rated free-to-play sports gaming app, will expand its total game offerings over the next two years, and will begin to integrate PointsBet odds into gameplay. PointsBet is the official sports betting partner of NBC Sports.

Kicking off the new slate of games, a new basketball predictor game is set to launch in the first quarter of 2021 with two contests per week running through the post-season.

NBC Sports Predictor launched in December 2018 with Premier League Pick ‘Em as its first game, and has since expanded with NASCAR and Golf Pick ‘Em games and the Sunday Night 7 Football game.

Premier League Pick ‘Em continues with a contest every Matchweek through the end of the season and Golf Pick ‘Em returns in February at the Waste Management Phoenix Open. To participate in this week’s contests, click here.

To date, the NBC Sports Predictor app has more than 1.5 million downloads, more than 20 million contest entries, and has awarded more than $3 million in cash prizes to fans.

New Special Broadens NBC Sports Group’s Multi-Platform Sports Betting Content

STAMFORD, Conn. – May 1, 2019 – NBC Sports will present its first-ever Kentucky Derby Day betting show – NBC Sports Bet: Derby Special – this Saturday, May 4 live at 5 p.m. ET on NBCSports.com/Bet and the NBC Sports app. The 30-minute show will serve as a companion to the live Kentucky Derby television broadcast, which begins Saturday at 2:30 p.m. ET on NBC.

In addition, NBC Sports Radio’s The Daily Line will present a special pre-race show this Saturday from 3-5 p.m. ET, focusing on betting the Kentucky Derby.

NBC Sports Bet: Derby Special, hosted by Ahmed Fareed from the paddock at Churchill Downs, will provide horse racing bettors with last-minute tips on the Run for the Roses, with topics ranging from the value available in a 20-horse field to the impact of the weather on the race to track bias.

Fareed will be joined by a combination of special guests and members of NBC Sports’ on-air team, including analyst/handicapper Eddie Olczyk, who last year correctly predicted the top three finishers in the Kentucky Derby (Race 12) and will offer up his full slate of picks for this year’s race. The show will run until the horses begin the walkover for the 145th Kentucky Derby.  In addition, NBC Sports Radio’s The Daily Line will present a special pre-race show this Saturday from 3-5 p.m. ET, focusing on betting the Kentucky Derby.

The NBC Sports Bet: Derby Special expands NBC Sports Group’s multi-platform presentation of sports betting-related content. In December, NBC Sports’ launched the free-to-play NBC Sports Predictor app with the Premier League Pick ‘Em game and added Golf Pick ‘Em two months later.

In January, NBC Sports Washington launched an eight-game Predict the Game interactive Washington Wizards alternate live-game experience featuring a free-to-play predictive gaming contest, along with real-time sports-betting data and statistics. In addition, NBC Sports Philadelphia launched betting-focused telecasts for two Philadelphia 76ers games featuring an  alternate broadcast with betting-related commentary and analysis in real time, along with up-to-date betting data and information.

Also in January, NBC Sports Radio in conjunction with Westwood One launched The Daily Line, a weekday afternoon drive show (3-7 p.m. ET), focusing on sports betting while also featuring topical and entertaining sports talk. The show is broadcast from NBC Sports Washington and hosted by Michael Jenkins of NBC Sports Washington, and Tim Murray, a 10-year sports radio veteran based in the Washington, D.C. area.
