STAMFORD, Conn. – August 26, 2021 – The Atlanta Falcons take on the Cleveland Browns in the final NFL preseason game from Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Ga., this Sunday, Aug. 29, at 8 p.m. ET on NBC and Peacock.

Al Michaels (play-by-play), in his record 36th season as the voice of the NFL’s premier primetime package; 16-time Emmy Award-winner Cris Collinsworth; four-time Emmy Award-winning sideline reporter Michele Tafoya; and rules analyst and three-time Super Bowl referee Terry McAulay call Browns-Falcons.

The Browns look to finish the preseason with an undefeated record after topping the Jacksonville Jaguars, 23-13, and the New York Giants, 17-13. Led by 2020 AP NFL Coach of the Year Kevin Stefanski and 2018 No. 1 overall draft pick quarterback Baker Mayfield, Cleveland won their first playoff game in 25 years last season after finishing the year with an 11-5 record, their first double-digit win season since 2007.

The Falcons look to capture their first preseason win after losing to the Tennessee Titans (23-3) and Miami Dolphins (37-17). After going 4-12 in 2020, Falcons first-year head coach Arthur Smith and quarterback Matt Ryan look to bring Atlanta back to the playoffs for the first time since 2017. Ryan currently has 55,767 pass yards in his 13-year NFL career, ranking ninth all-time.

The season begins with NFL Kickoff 2021 on Thursday, Sept. 9 from Raymond James Stadium, as Tom Brady and the Super Bowl-champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers host the Dallas Cowboys on NBC and Peacock.

STAMFORD, Conn. – August 25, 2021 – Mohamed Salah and Liverpool host Romelu Lukaku and Chelsea this Saturday, August 28 at 12:30 p.m. ET on NBC, Peacock and Telemundo, highlighting this weekend’s Premier League action across NBC Sports.

Liverpool and Chelsea – two of five Premier League clubs to win both of their opening matches – have each scored five goals with zero goals conceded this season.

Chelsea topped Arsenal, 2-0, last weekend as Lukaku scored in his first match back with the Blues since re-signing with the club, and Liverpool defeated Burnley, 2-0, behind goals from Diogo Jota and Sadio Mane. Arlo White and Lee Dixon will call the action live from Anfield.

The weekend’s coverage gets underway this Saturday at 7 a.m. ET with Premier League Mornings on Peacock, leading into Manchester City hosting Arsenal at 7:30 a.m. ET (Peacock).

Five matches will be presented live at 10 a.m. ET on Saturday: Brighton & Hove Albion v. Everton (NBCSN, Universo), Aston Villa v. Brentford (CNBC), Newcastle v. Southampton (Peacock), Norwich City v. Leicester City (Peacock), and West Ham v. Crystal Palace (Peacock).

Rebecca Lowe hosts this weekend’s Premier League Mornings, Premier League Live and Goal Zone shows alongside former Premier League and Jamaica National Team player Robbie Earle and former Premier League and U.S. Men’s National Team player Tim Howard.

On Sunday, Premier League Mornings begins at 8:30 a.m. ET on NBCSN. At 9 a.m. ET, Leeds United visit Burnley (NBCSN) and Tottenham host Watford (Peacock). Then at 11:30 a.m. ET on NBCSN and Telemundo, Bruno Fernandes, who is tied for the Premier League lead with three goals this season, and Manchester United visit Wolverhampton Wanderers. White and Dixon will call the match live from Molineux. The day’s coverage concludes at 1:30 p.m. ET with Goal Zone on NBCSN.

This season, Peacock will stream all games airing on the NBC broadcast network live. In addition, Peacock will feature studio shows, full match replays and the Premier League TV channel. All matchdays and windows exclusively on Peacock will feature NBC Sports’ Premier League studio coverage.

Next Tuesday, Aug. 31, NBC Sports will present immersive coverage of Premier League Transfer Deadline Day. Beginning at 8 a.m. ET, Peacock will stream live Sky Sports News’ 11 hours of deadline day coverage.

Then, at 5 p.m. ET on NBCSN, NBC Sports presents a three-hour Transfer Deadline Day Special covering all the breaking news and providing insights and analysis on the latest transfers at Tuesday’s deadline. The show will feature Lowe, Earle, Howard, former Premier League player Robbie Mustoe, and NBC Sports Premier League Insider David Ornstein.

NBC SPORTS CONNECTS AMERICAN TOWNS & PREMIER LEAGUE CLUBS: LIVERPOOL, NY, & CHELSEA, NY, SUPPORT BIG LIVERPOOL-CHELSEA MATCH

This Thursday–Sunday, NBC Sports will be taking over the Chelsea Square Restaurant in Manhattan. In Support of Chelsea FC throughout those days, the restaurant will be dressed in blue, featuring flags, banners, special menus items, and more.  In Liverpool, NY, this week, students and varsity soccer players will gather at Liverpool High School for a special occasion featuring a Q&A with NBC Sports’ Robbie Earle, a presentation of a Liverpool FC kit for the school, and more.

STAMFORD, Conn. – Aug. 25, 2021 – With only one spot remaining in the 2021 NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs, NBC Sports presents coverage of the regular-season finale Saturday in primetime under the lights at Daytona International Speedway at 7 p.m. ET on NBC. Coverage from Daytona begins with an hour-long pre-race of Countdown to Green Saturday at 6 p.m. ET on NBCSN. This will mark the second consecutive year that Daytona will host the regular-season finale.

NASCAR coverage from Daytona will begin Friday in primetime at 7 p.m. ET with Countdown to Green on NBCSN, leading into Xfinity Series racing at 7:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN. Four races remain in the 2021 Xfinity Series regular season.

Two-time Daytona 500 Champion and NASCAR Hall of Fame selection Dale Earnhardt Jr. will join Daytona 500-winning crew chief Steve Letarte, and 21-time Cup Series race winner and “The Mayor” of NASCAR Jeff Burton in NBC Sports’ “Racing Team” broadcast booth to call the Xfinity Series race Friday from Daytona. NBC Sports’ lead NASCAR race announcer Rick Allen will call Saturday’s NASCAR Cup Series race with Earnhardt Jr., Burton and Letarte.

Dave Burns, Marty Snider and Parker Kligerman will contribute coverage from pit road at Daytona on Friday and Saturday.

Pre- and post-race coverage from Daytona will be anchored by Kelli Stavast alongside NASCAR Hall of Fame driver Dale Jarrett and Brad Daugherty from the Peacock Pit Box on pit road. Pre-race coverage will feature a look-back on the 20th anniversary of Earnhardt Jr.’s personal and memorable victory at Daytona just months after his father tragically passed away at the same track.

CHASE, a documentary that provides a behind-the-scenes look at the journey and roots of defending Cup Series champion Chase Elliott in his hometown of Dawsonville, Ga., premieres on television on NBCSN Saturday at 5 p.m. ET. Dale Earnhardt Jr. serves as narrator of the hour-long documentary. CHASE is available to stream now on Peacock.

Comedian Jay Mendoza stars in the next iteration of the NBC Sports content series Up to Speed this weekend in Daytona. With a social media following of two million, Mendoza will combine his Latinx-style of comedy and affection for sport to showcase the storied history of NASCAR in Daytona with fans. Mendoza will be on-site in Daytona to experience the regular-season finale.

Last week at Michigan International Speedway, Ryan Blaney won his second Cup Series race of the year, while A.J. Allmendinger won the Xfinity Series race. Michael McDowell won the Daytona 500 earlier this year in February.

STAMFORD, Conn. – Aug. 25, 2021 – NBC Sports will present live tournament coverage of the BMW Championship, the second event of the 2020-21 PGA TOUR FedExCup Playoffs, as the top 70 players on the standings compete from Caves Valley Golf Course in Owings Mills, Md., this weekend across NBC, GOLF Channel, and Peacock.

This week’s golf coverage is also highlighted by more than 25 hours of coverage of the Curtis Cup, featuring the top women’s amateur golfers representing the teams of the United States and Great Britain and Ireland, as well as events spanning the PGA TOUR Champions, Korn Ferry Tour and European Tour on GOLF Channel and Peacock.

PGA TOUR: BMW CHAMPIONSHIP

The FedExCup Playoffs continue this week at the BMW Championship from Caves Valley Golf Course in Owings Mills, MD., as the top 70 players on the standings take part in the second tournament of the three-event playoffs. Tony Finau won last weekend’s THE NORTHERN TRUST and currently sits atop the FedExCup standings, followed by Jon Rahm, Cameron Smith, Patrick Cantlay, and Justin Thomas.

Following this week’s BMW Championship, the top 30 players advance to the Tour Championship at East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta, Ga.
