STAMFORD, Conn. – Sept. 30, 2020 – The 2020 NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs continue this weekend from Talladega Superspeedway on NBC Sports, as pre-race coverage begins this Sunday at 1 p.m. ET on NBC with the NASCAR America Pre-Race Show, followed by Countdown to Green. Coverage of the Cup Series YellaWood 500 begins at 2 p.m. ET on NBC.

Saturday’s Xfinity Series pre-race coverage begins at 3:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN, with the green flag slated to wave shortly after 4:30 p.m. ET.

With his overtime victory on Sunday at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, Kurt Busch became the first driver to claim a spot in the NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs’ Round of 8. Regular season champion Kevin Harvick is currently best on points, trailed by Denny Hamlin and Brad Keselowski.

NASCAR CUP SERIES RACING FROM TALLADEGA – SUNDAY AT 2 P.M. ET ON NBC

Host Krista Voda, NASCAR Hall of Fame inductee and 1999 NASCAR Cup Series champion Dale Jarrett and analyst Brad Daugherty will provide pre- and post-race studio coverage.

NBC Sports’ Xfinity Series coverage from Talladega begins Saturday with Countdown to Green at 3:30 p.m. ET leading into Xfinity Series racing at 4:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN. The Xfinity Series Playoffs began last weekend at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, where Chase Briscoe earned his series-best eighth victory of the season. The win propels Briscoe to Round 2 of the Playoffs, while Austin Cindric and Noah Gragson round out the top three in the standings.

2020 PIT CREW ALL-STARS TO BE RECOGNIZED DURING NASCAR PLAYOFFS

The 2020 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship season continues with the Thunder Valley National in Lakewood, Colo., Saturday at 7:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN. STAMFORD, Conn. – Aug. 26, 2020 – NASCAR returns to NBC and the “World Center of Racing” this Saturday night in primetime with the NASCAR Cup Series Coke Zero Sugar 400 – the regular season finale — under the lights at Daytona International Speedway at 7 p.m. ET on NBC.

NBC Sports will super-serve fans with more than 30 hours of motorsports programming this week, including an INDYCAR doubleheader from World Wide Technology Raceway at Gateway in Madison, Ill., on Saturday and Sunday at 3 p.m. ET on NBCSN; NASCAR Xfinity Series racing from Daytona on Friday at 7 p.m. ET on NBCSN; and Mecum Auctions from Kissimmee, Fla., starting tomorrow at 3 p.m. ET on NBCSN.

With 13 drivers locked into the 16-driver Cup Series Playoffs, the last three Playoff spots are on the line in Saturday’s regular season finale, which is being held at Daytona for the first time. Clint Bowyer, Matt DiBenedetto and William Byron currently hold those three spots, while drivers on the outside of the Playoff picture, including 7-time Cup Series champion Jimmie Johnson, are down to their last chance to make the post-season. In addition, Kevin Harvick will be officially presented with the 2020 regular season championship, which he clinched during his seventh win of the season last Sunday at Dover International Speedway.

NASCAR CUP SERIES RACING FROM DAYTONA – SATURDAY AT 7 P.M. ET ON NBC

Saturday’s coverage begins at 6 p.m. ET on NBCSN with the NASCAR America Pre-Race Show, followed by Countdown to Green at 6:30 p.m. ET. Dixon (335 points) remains atop the NTT IndyCar Series standings, now leading by 84 points over reigning champion Josef Newgarden (Team Penske, 251 points). Nearly 15 hours of coverage of the Mecum Auctions Kissimmee Summer Special from Osceola Heritage Park will be presented over the course of the week on NBCSN. Coverage begins tomorrow with a 3.5-hour window at 3 p.m. ET and will continue at 2 a.m. ET. More than 8 hours of coverage will be featured on Friday and Sunday, including three hours of coverage on Friday, beginning at 4 p.m. ET. Highlighted cars among the 1,000 vehicles expected to cross the auction block in Kissimmee include a 2018 Ford GT, a 1970 Chevrolet Camaro RS Z28 and a 1955 Cadillac Eldorado Convertible.

STAMFORD, Conn. – Aug. 12, 2020 – The 2020 NASCAR Cup Series season heads to Daytona International Speedway for the Cup Series’ first-ever race on Daytona’s 3.61-mile road course this Sunday at 3 p.m. ET on NBC. Sunday’s pre-race coverage begins on NBCSN with the NASCAR America Pre-Race Show at 2 p.m. ET followed by Countdown to Green. Coverage of Cup Series racing switches to NBC for the Go Bowling 235 at 3 p.m. ET. The NASCAR America Post Race Show will air following the checkered flag on NBCSN at 6 p.m.

This is the first of two pivotal Cup Series weekends this month at Daytona, whose 2.5-mile superspeedway oval hosts the regular season finale Sat., Aug. 29 on NBC. After back-to-back wins last weekend in Michigan, Cup Series points leader Kevin Harvick (series-best 6 wins, 916 points) heads to Daytona in top form as the Playoffs draw closer. Brad Keselowski (3 wins, 779 points), Denny Hamlin (5 wins, 776 points), Ryan Blaney (1 win, 741 points), and Chase Elliott (1 win, 721 points) round out the top 5 in points.

Host Krista Voda, NASCAR Hall of Fame inductee and 1999 NASCAR Cup Series champion Dale Jarrett, and analyst Brad Daugherty will provide pre-race and post-race studio coverage.

Saturday’s coverage from IMS begins with an hour-long practice session at 8:30 a.m. ET, followed by seven hours of Day 1 Qualifying coverage starting at 11 a.m. ET on NBC Sports Gold. NBC will begin presenting Qualifying coverage at 3 p.m. ET

NBC Sports’ lead INDYCAR broadcast team of Leigh Diffey (play-by-play), Townsend Bell (analyst), and Paul Tracy (analyst) will have the call for weekend coverage of qualifying alongside Marty Snider, Kelli Stavast and Kevin Lee providing reports from the pits.

On Sunday, coverage of practice begins at 11 a.m. ET exclusively on NBC Sports Gold. Day 2 of Qualifying, highlighted by the Fast Nine Shootout for the Indy 500 pole position, will be presented on NBC at 1 p.m. ET. The 2020 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship season will begin with the inaugural Loretta Lynn’s National in Hurricane Mills, Tenn. Saturday’s coverage of the Moto2 on NBCSN begins at 12 a.m. ET and NBC will present the Moto2 450 Sunday at 12 p.m. ET. The Loretta Lynn’s Ranch track has played host to many amateur Motocross events, but this will mark the first time that the track has appeared on the professional schedule.

Veteran play-by-play voice Jason Weigandt, analyst and two-time AMA Pro Motocross Champion Grant Langston, and pit reporter Will Christien will call the season opener.

MOTOGP AUSTRIAN GRAND PRIX – SUNDAY AT 7:30 A.M. ET ON NBCSN

The 2020 MotoGP season continues on Sunday with a live presentation of the Austrian Grand Prix from Red Bull Ring – Spielberg at 7:30 a.m. ET on NBCSN. Yamaha rider Fabio Quartararo currently leads the points standings after three races. Brad Binder, who earned the first MotoGP win for himself and manufacturer KTM last week in the Czech Republic, sits fifth in the standings as the series heads to KTM’s home country.

Todd Harris (play-by-play) and former professional motorcycle racer Ben Bostrom (analyst) will anchor coverage.

NBC SPORTS GROUP AND MAVTV TO PRESENT MORE THAN 60 HOURS OF 2015 LUCAS OIL PRO MOTOCROSS CHAMPIONSHIP PROGRAMMING

NBC, NBCSN and MATV Combine to Televise All  2015 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship Races

 

NBC Sports Live Extra To Live Stream All Races Televised on NBC and NBCSN

 

STAMFORD. Conn. – May 4, 2015 – Alli Sports, a division of NBC Sports Group, and MX Sports Pro Racing, announced today the complete programming schedule for the 2015 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship. NBC, NBCSN and MAVTV will combine to present every race of the season and more than 60 hours of Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship programming. Coverage begins Saturday, May 16 at 5 p.m. ET on MAVTV with the GoPro Hangtown Motocross Classic from Sacramento, Calif. Coverage on NBCSN begins Saturday, May 16 at 7 p.m. ET.

 

In addition to television coverage, all races that air on NBC and NBCSN will be live streamed on NBC Sports Live Extra, NBC Sports Group’s live streaming product for desktops, mobile devices and tablets. Race coverage airing on MAVTV will be live streamed on ProMotocross.com.

 

For the second consecutive year, NBCSN will televise more than 21 hours of Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship race coverage and 15 hours of race recap shows. In addition, NBC will present three hours of live coverage, including the Red Bull Tennessee National, Red Bull RedBud National and Red Bull Unadilla National.

 

MAVTV will present all 12 rounds of live Moto 1 coverage to enthusiasts unable to attend the races in person, as well as an additional 24 hours of original programming. In total, NBC Sports Group and MAVTV’s combined coverage in 2015 will feature more than 48 hours of race coverage and 15 hours of race recap programming.

 

Jason Weigandt will serve as the play-by-play announcer for all telecasts on NBC, NBCSN and MAVTV. Weigandt will be joined by analyst and two-time AMA Pro Motocross Champion Grant Langston. Georgia Lindsay will serve as the pit reporter for all telecasts.

Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship

The Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship, sanctioned by AMA Pro Racing, features the world’s fastest outdoor motocross racers, racing aboard the best bikes each factory offers, on the roughest, toughest tracks in the world. The 12-rounds series begins at Hangtown in May and ends at Indiana’s Ironman Raceway in August. It includes stops at the premier motocross racing facilities in America, with events in California, Colorado, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Michigan, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington, New York, Indiana and Utah.
