STAMFORD, Conn. – July 7, 2022 – The NASCAR Cup and Xfinity Series visit Atlanta Motor Speedway this weekend on USA Network, as the Cup Series looks to see if a sixth first-time winning driver will take the checkered flag this season on Sunday.

This weekend marks the second consecutive NASCAR Cup Series race that will be on USA Network, with 10 of the next 12 Cup Series races, including pre- and post-race coverage, being presented on the network. Click here for more details.

Countdown to Green pre-race coverage on Sunday begins at 2 p.m. ET on USA Network, leading into the Quaker State 400 Presented By Walmart on USA Network at 3 p.m. ET. NASCAR America post-race coverage will be presented on the network immediately following the checkered flag at 6:30 p.m. ET.

Two-time Daytona 500 Champion and NASCAR Hall of Fame driver Dale Earnhardt Jr., 21-time Cup Series race winner and “The Mayor” of NASCAR Jeff Burton, and Daytona 500-winning crew chief Steve Letarte will serve as analysts for both the Cup and Xfinity Series races this weekend from Atlanta with lead NASCAR race announcer Rick Allen. Marty Snider, Kim Coon, and Dave Burns will serve as pit reporters. Earnhardt Jr. won a Cup Series race at Atlanta Motor Speedway in 2004.

Burton will drive the NBC Toyota car around Atlanta Motor Speedway during Sunday’s pre-race coverage to give viewers an idea of the track’s new banking configuration that was introduced this year.

Auto racing icon Kyle Petty and JTG Daugherty Racing team owner Brad Daugherty will anchor studio coverage with Snider from the Peacock Pit Box during pre- and post-race coverage on Saturday and Sunday.

NBC Sports’ Rutledge Wood will serve as a “CityView” reporter and share stories from the famed Dawsonville Pool Room and Georgia Racing Hall of Fame in 2020 NASCAR Cup Series champion Chase Elliott’s Georgia hometown during the race on Sunday. Wood will be on-site at the Atlanta Motor Speedway track on Saturday to share the atmosphere around the Xfinity Series race.

NASCAR coverage from Darlington will begin Saturday at 3 p.m. ET with Countdown to Green on NBCSN, leading into Xfinity Series racing at 3:30 p.m. ET. Three races remain in the 2021 Xfinity Series regular season.

NBC Sports’ lead NASCAR race announcer Rick Allen will call Stage 1 and 3 of Sunday’s Cup Series race with Daytona 500-winning crew chief Steve Letarte, 21-time Cup Series race winner and “The Mayor” of NASCAR Jeff Burton, and NASCAR Hall of Fame selection Dale Earnhardt Jr. Stage 2 will feature three of the most famous last names in NASCAR together in the booth, with Earnhardt Jr., Kyle Petty and Dale Jarrett calling the action.

STAMFORD, Conn. – Aug. 11, 2021 – NBC Sports presents a revamped Brickyard Weekend of NASCAR and INDYCAR racing for the second consecutive year from Indianapolis Motor Speedway, featuring NASCAR Cup and Xfinity Series and NTT INDYCAR SERIES races on the IMS road course Saturday and Sunday across NBC and NBCSN. This will be the first time the crossover weekend will have fans.

The NASCAR Cup Series will race on the Indianapolis Motor Speedway road course for the first time on Sunday, with pre-race coverage beginning at 12:30 p.m. ET on NBC with Countdown to Green, leading into race coverage at 1 p.m. ET on NBC.

A Saturday doubleheader on NBCSN from the IMS road course gets underway with pre-race coverage of the NTT INDYCAR SERIES Big Machine Spiked Coolers Grand Prix at 12:30 p.m. ET. Race coverage begins at 1 p.m. ET. Immediately following INDYCAR post-race coverage, Countdown to Green kicks off NASCAR Xfinity coverage Saturday at 3:30 p.m. ET. Race coverage from the IMS road course begins at 4 p.m. ET, followed by post-race coverage until 7 p.m. ET.

NBC Sports’ NASCAR and INDYCAR analysts Dale Earnhardt Jr., Jeff Burton, Steve Letarte, Townsend Bell, and Paul Tracy will preview the NASCAR-INDYCAR crossover weekend during a press event on-site on Friday at 1:30 p.m. ET at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway media center.

NBC Sports’ lead INDYCAR team of Leigh Diffey (play-by-play), Townsend Bell (analyst) and Paul Tracy (analyst) will call the Big Machine Spiked Coolers Grand Prix on Saturday with Marty Snider and Kevin Lee serving as pit reporters.

Two-time Daytona 500 Champion and NASCAR Hall of Fame selection Dale Earnhardt Jr. will join Daytona 500-winning crew chief Steve Letarte, and 21-time Cup Series race winner and “The Mayor” of NASCAR Jeff Burton in NBC Sports’ “Racing Team” broadcast booth to call both the Cup and Xfinity Series races this weekend from Loudon.

The “Racing Team” will also include 1999 NASCAR Cup Series champion Dale Jarrett and auto racing icon Kyle Petty during race and pre-race coverage. Pre-race coverage will take place at the front of the grid with Letarte, Jarrett and Petty on Saturday and Sunday. Marty Snider and Dillon Welch will serve as pit reporters.
