STAMFORD, Conn. – March 29, 2023 – The 2023 NTT INDYCAR SERIES season continues with live coverage of the PPG 375 from Texas Motor Speedway in Fort Worth this Sunday at 12 p.m. ET on NBC and Peacock. The race marks the second of seven races airing on NBC to begin the season. Peacock is the streaming home of the NTT INDYCAR SERIES, presenting all races, qualifying and practices this season.

Reigning and two-time INDYCAR champion Will Power is part of a star-studded group of drivers in the series’ paddock that includes six-time champion Scott Dixon, two-time champion Josef Newgarden, four-time Indianapolis 500 champion Helio Castroneves, and Pato O’Ward, among others. Reigning Indianapolis 500 champion Marcus Ericsson took the checkered flag at the season opener Grand Prix of St. Petersburg in Florida, with O’Ward and Dixon rounding out the podium.

Newgarden looks to win his third career race at Texas Motor Speedway this weekend and defend his 2022 victory, where he made a thrilling last-lap pass on Penske teammate Scott McLaughlin to earn the win.

NBC SPORTS ANNOUNCES 2023 MOTOGP SEASON TELECAST SCHEDULE

All 21 MotoGP™ Races to be Presented on NBC and CNBC

Season Begins Sunday, March 26, with the Portuguese Grand Prix at 1:30 p.m. ET on CNBC

NBCSports.com and NBC Sports App to Stream Coverage of Every Race; MotoGP Video Pass to Provide Live and On-Demand Coverage

STAMFORD, Conn. – March 15, 2023 – NBC Sports has announced its telecast schedule for the 2023 MotoGP season on NBC and CNBC, beginning with the Portuguese Grand Prix from Algarve International Circuit in Portimao, Portugal, on Sunday, March 26, at 1:30 p.m. ET on CNBC.

All 21 races will be presented on either NBC or CNBC with timeslots designed to showcase the best of the sport. The Grand Prix of the Americas from Circuit of the Americas will be presented live for a second consecutive year on Sunday, April 16, at 2:30 p.m. ET on CNBC. NBC will air an hour-long encore on Saturday, April 22, at 3 p.m. ET.

NBC will present coverage of the following five MotoGP™ Grand Prix races, including three consecutive events in September, this season:

  • British Grand Prix from Silverstone Circuit on Sunday, Aug. 6, at 1:30 p.m. ET;
  • Catalan Grand Prix from Barcelona-Catalunya Circuit on Sunday, Sept. 3, at 1:30 p.m. ET;
  • San Marino Grand Prix from Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli on Sunday, Sept. 10, at 1 p.m. ET;
  • Indian Grand Prix from Buddh International Circuit on Sunday, Sept. 24, at 1:30 p.m. ET;
  • Malaysian Grand Prix from Sepang International Circuit on Sunday, Nov. 12, at 1:30 p.m. ET.

MOTOGP: GRAND PRIX OF VALENCIA

The 2022 MotoGP championship will be decided this Sunday in the season finale at Circuit Ricardo Tormo in Valencia, Spain, at noon ET on NBC. This marks the first time that the title will be decided at the final race of the year since 2017.

Following his victory last weekend in the Malaysian Grand Prix, Francesco Bagnaia can clinch the title if he finishes in 14th place or better, but second-place Fabio Quartararo remains alive in the race to win his second consecutive title.

STAMFORD, Conn. – Oct. 13, 2022 – The 2022 NASCAR Cup and Xfinity Series Playoffs Round of 8 will begin at Las Vegas Motor Speedway this weekend on NBC, featuring the first chance for a driver to secure a spot in the Championship 4.

The NASCAR Cup Series race in Las Vegas will be presented Sunday at 2:30 p.m. ET on NBC. All four remaining Cup Series Playoff races will air on the NBC broadcast network.

“The Mayor” of NASCAR and NBC Sports NASCAR analyst Jeff Burton, who is a two-time winner at Las Vegas earning back-to-back victories in 1999 and 2000, previewed the weekend by saying, “Las Vegas is a track that provides a great deal of opportunities for drivers to find a groove that work best. The track will be slick with the hot conditions and that has created great racing with this car. With the Round of 8 starting, I expect the intensity level to ramp up with drivers doing whatever is needed to win.”

The NASCAR Xfinity Series Playoffs Round of 8 gets underway in Las Vegas this Saturday at 3 p.m. ET on NBC and Peacock.

The first opportunity to secure a berth in the Championship 4 will be on the line with a victory for the eight remaining Playoff drivers in the NASCAR Cup Series this Sunday at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Two Playoff drivers have won before at the Las Vegas track: Joey Logano (2020, 2019) and Denny Hamlin (2021). Last Sunday’s winner Christopher Bell, who also advanced to the Round of 8, earned the pole at Vegas earlier this season.

Coverage of the South Point 400 will be presented Sunday at 2:30 p.m. ET with Countdown to Green beginning pre-race coverage at 2 p.m. ET. NASCAR America post-race coverage will immediately follow the checkered flag at 6 p.m. ET on Peacock.

The Xfinity Series Playoffs Round of 8 will also begin in Las Vegas with the Alsco Uniforms 302 Saturday at 3 p.m. ET on NBC and Peacock. Noah Gragson leads the points standings.

NASCAR: CUP SERIES BASS PRO SHOPS NIGHT RACE & XFINITY SERIES FOOD CITY 300

Four NASCAR Cup Series Playoff drivers will be eliminated this Saturday at Bristol Motor Speedway in the final race in the Round of 16. Bubba Wallace earned his second career Cup Series victory last weekend in Kansas.

Primetime coverage of the Bass Pro Shops Night Race in Bristol will be presented Saturday at 7:30 p.m. ET on USA Network with an hour-long edition of Countdown to Green beginning pre-race coverage at 6:30 p.m. ET. NASCAR America post-race coverage will immediately follow the checkered flag at 11 p.m. ET on USA Network.

The Food City 300 marks the final race of the Xfinity Series regular season with primetime coverage from Bristol beginning Friday at 7:30 p.m. ET on USA Network, with Countdown to Green getting underway at 7 p.m. ET.

Two-time Daytona 500 Champion and NASCAR Hall of Fame driver Dale Earnhardt Jr., 21-time Cup Series race winner and “The Mayor” of NASCAR Jeff Burton, and Daytona 500-winning crew chief Steve Letarte will serve as analysts for the Cup Series and Xfinity Series races from Bristol Motor Speedway with lead NASCAR race announcer Rick Allen.

Marty Snider, Dave Burns, Kim Coon and Dillon Welch will serve as pit reporters at Bristol.

Snider will anchor pre- and post-race studio coverage with NASCAR Hall of Fame driver Dale Jarrett and racing icon Kyle Petty on Friday and Saturday. During pre-race coverage on Saturday, the studio team will analyze Kyle Busch joining Richard Childress Racing in 2023, discuss if there will be a 19th different winner in the Cup Series this season, and provide updates on all 16 Playoff drivers as they prepare to battle for a spot in the Round of 12 in Thunder Valley.

Saturday’s Countdown to Green will also feature Chase Briscoe sharing his story with Rutledge Wood on his early start in racing, moving to North Carolina, and the impact Tony Stewart had on his career as well as Jeff Burton driving a lap in the NBC Toyota car to provide viewers an idea of the short track.

Earnhardt Jr. (2004), Burton (2008) and Jarrett (1997) all own a Cup Series victory at Bristol.

16 drivers make up the NASCAR Cup Series playoff field, led by regular-season champion Chase Elliott and last week’s Coke Zero Sugar 400 winner Austin Dillon. A victory by a playoff driver this Sunday at Darlington will automatically clinch them a spot in the Round of 12.

With only two races remaining in the season, seven drivers are eligible to win the INDYCAR title and the 43-point differential between the top five in the standings is the closest title chase since 2003. Two-time INDYCAR champion Josef Newgarden won the series’ most recent race on Aug. 20, the Bommarito Automotive Group 500, at World Wide Technology Raceway to move into second in the standings and trails standings leader Will Power by only three points. Scott Dixon, currently third in the standings, ranks second all-time with 53 series wins and is aiming to capture a record-tying seventh INDYCAR championship with A.J. Foyt.

MOTOGP: AUSTRIAN MOTORCYCLE GRAND PRIX

The 2022 MotoGP season continues this weekend with the Austrian Motorcycle Grand Prix from Red Bull Ring in Spielberg on Sunday at 5 p.m. ET on CNBC. Fabio Quartararo (180 pts) currently leads the premier class points standings ahead of Aleix Espargaro (158 pts), while Francesco Bagnaia (131 pts) has jumped back into championship contention following back-to-back wins. The Spielberg track has also added two additional turns that will be used in a race for the first time this weekend.
