STAMFORD, Conn. – Dec. 9, 2021 – The U.S. Snowboarding and Freestyle Skiing teams take center stage at the Toyota U.S. Grand Prix this weekend at Copper Mountain in Colorado across NBC Sports and Peacock. The Grand Prix serves as one of four U.S. Olympic halfpipe snowboard qualifying events and one of six U.S. Olympic freeski qualifying events ahead of the 2022 Olympic Winter Games.

Three-time Olympic gold medalist Shaun White headlines U.S. Snowboard Team contenders and 2022 Winter Olympic hopefuls alongside 2014 Olympian Taylor Gold and Toby Miller. Halfpipe competition will be presented Saturday live at 2 p.m. ET on NBCSN, with an encore airing Sunday at 1 p.m. ET on NBC.

The U.S. Freeski Team features two-time Olympic gold medalist David Wise, 2018 bronze medalist Brita Sigourney, and Aaron Blunck all aiming to qualify for their third Olympic Games. Coverage from Copper gets underway with the freeski halfpipe Friday live at 2:30 p.m. ET on Peacock and an encore presentation at 9:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN. NBC will also air an encore Saturday at 5 p.m. ET.

NBC Sports’ Todd Harris (play-by-play), former U.S. Olympian snowboarder Todd Richards (analyst), World Cup freestyle gold medalist Tom Wallisch, and former professional snowboarder Tina Dixon (reporter) will call the U.S. Grand Prix coverage.

The 2021-22 FIS Alpine Skiing World Cup season continues with women’s Super-G events in St. Moritz, Switzerland, and men’s slalom and giant slalom events in Val d’Isere, France. Two-time Olympic gold medalist and the winningest slalom skier in World Cup history Mikaela Shiffrin is expected to headline the U.S. Women’s Ski Team in St. Moritz alongside 2018 Olympian Breezy Johnson. Super-G coverage gets underway Saturday live at 4:30 a.m. ET on Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA, with an encore slated for 12:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN.

Coverage of the men’s technical races from Val d’Isere begins Saturday with the giant slalom live at 3:30 a.m. ET (Run 1) and 7 a.m. ET (Run 2) on Peacock. The U.S. Men’s Ski Team is expected to be led by two-time Olympian Tommy Ford and 2018 Olympian Ryan Cochran-Siegle.

NBC Sports’ Steve Schlanger (play-by-play) and former U.S. ski team racer Steve Porino will call this weekend’s men’s and women’s alpine action.

NBC Sports will present nearly 70 hours of U.S. Ski and Snowboard coverage this season, including this weekend’s snowboarding and freestyle skiing events from Copper. Additional season coverage will be highlighted by events in Mammoth, Calif., and Deer Valley, Utah, across alpine skiing, snowboarding, and freestyle skiing competition. The IBSF Bobsled and Skeleton World Cup stops in Winterberg, Germany, this weekend where the U.S. women’s team is expected to be led by Kaillie Humphries, a two-time Olympic gold medalist for Canada who recently became a U.S. citizen and is aiming to qualify as a member of the U.S. team in the Olympic Winter Games. STAMFORD, Conn. – Nov. 19, 2021 – Two-time Olympic gold medalist and the winningest slalom skier in World Cup history Mikaela Shiffrin headlines U.S. Ski Team contenders competing in the 2021-22 FIS Skiing and Snowboarding World Cup season across NBC, NBCSN, CNBC, Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA, NBCSports.com, the NBC Sports app, and Peacock. NBC Sports’ live coverage continues with the women’s slalom tomorrow and Sunday at 4:30 a.m. ET (Run 1) and 7:30 a.m. ET (Run 2) in Levi, Finland, on Peacock.

Six-time world champion Shiffrin is expected to compete in Levi after capturing her 70th career World Cup victory last month in the season opening giant slalom event in Soelden, Austria. X Games Aspen 2022 Returns to Buttermilk Mountain Jan. 21-23

Real Series 2021 Continues Today with Six Real Snow Video Debuts

In 2021, Real Snow returns to the Real Series lineup with six of snowboarding’s most popular riders, all six of which are Real Snow rookies. This year, the focus of the Real Snow video parts will shift from urban to all-terrain, with video parts that combine urban elements, backcountry and park riding. All six original video parts drop today on XGames.com. A full World of X Games episode will air Sunday, March 28 at 11:30 p.m. ET on ESPN2 (with an encore on ABC on April 3 at. 3 p.m. ET), featuring all six video parts, behind-the-scenes footage and medal ceremonies.

Peacock Premium is Streaming Home of Winter Olympic Sports

STAMFORD, Conn. – March 11, 2021 – The world freestyle skiing and snowboarding championships from Aspen Snowmass in Aspen, Colo., begin tomorrow across NBC Sports and Peacock Premium, with live coverage beginning with snowboard slopestyle at 11:30 a.m. ET on Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA and Peacock Premium.

A number of American contenders are competing in the snowboard events, including 2018 Olympic gold medalists Chloe Kim and Red Gerard, and two-time Olympic gold medalist Jamie Anderson. The freestyle skiing American contingent is headlined by two-time Olympic gold medalist David Wise and 2018 Olympic bronze medalist Brita Sigourney.

World championship events in freestyle skiing were split between Idre Fjall, Sweden, Almaty, Kazakhstan, and Aspen, Colo. Aspen Snowmass will host big air, halfpipe and slopestyle events in both snowboarding and freeskiing.

All live events will stream on Peacock Premium, including exclusive live coverage of freeski slopestyle at 11:30 am ET on Saturday. All television coverage also streams on NBCSports.com and the NBC Sports app.

Action sports made a triumphant return Friday afternoon at Buttermilk Mountain when X Games Aspen 2021 kicked off with Jeep Women’s Snowboard SuperPipe, Women’s Ski Big Air, Wendy’s Snowboard Knuckle Huck and Men’s & Women’s Ski SuperPipe.
