STAMFORD, Conn. – November 3, 2021 – Cristiano Ronaldo and fifth-place Manchester United host third-place Manchester City in the 186th edition of the Manchester Derby this Saturday, Nov. 6 at 8:30 a.m. ET on NBCSN, Universo and Telemundo, highlighting this weekend’s Premier League action across NBC Sports.

Saturday’s match – the 17th Manchester Derby to be presented by NBC Sports – features two top-five clubs for the 8th time since the start of the 2013-14 season. Ronaldo returns to action in the Manchester Derby for the first time since 2009, and has scored three goals in his last five Manchester Derbies.

Manchester United defeated Tottenham, 3-0, last weekend as Ronaldo netted one goal and one assist in the win. Manchester City lost to Crystal Palace, 2-0, last week, marking their first Premier League loss since Aug. 15 (1-0 at Tottenham). Arlo White, Lee Dixon and Graeme Le Saux will call the match live from Old Trafford.

The weekend’s coverage gets underway this Friday, Nov. 5 on Peacock with Premier League Live at 3 p.m. ET, followed by Southampton v. Aston Villa at 4 p.m. ET and Goal Zone at 6 p.m. ET.

Coverage on Saturday begins with a special 90-minute Premier League Mornings pre-match show at 7 a.m. ET on NBCSN, leading into the Manchester Derby. Three matches will be presented live at 11 a.m. ET on Saturday: Crystal Palace v. Wolverhampton Wanderers (NBCSN, Universo), Brentford v. Norwich City (Peacock), and first-place Chelsea v. Burnley (Peacock) as Christian Pulisic is expected to make his return to the Premier League following injury. Then at 1:30 p.m. ET, Brighton & Hove Albion host Newcastle on NBC, Peacock and Universo.

Rebecca Lowe hosts this weekend’s Premier League Mornings, Premier League Live and Goal Zone shows alongside former Premier League players Robbie Earle and Robbie Mustoe. Paul Burmeister hosts Friday’s shows alongside Earle and Mustoe.

On Sunday, a two-hour Premier League Mornings begins at 7 a.m. ET on NBCSN, followed by Tottenham visiting Everton at 9 a.m. ET (NBCSN, Telemundo) as head coach Antonio Conte, who won the 2016-17 Premier League title with Chelsea, takes charge of his first Premier League match with Spurs. Also at 9 a.m. ET on Peacock, Arsenal host Watford and Leicester City visit Leeds United.

At 11:30 a.m. ET on Sunday, Mohamed Salah and second-place Liverpool visit fourth-place West Ham on NBCSN and Telemundo. White and Le Saux will call the action live from London Stadium.

The weekend’s coverage concludes Sunday at 1:30 p.m. ET with Goal Zone on NBCSN, followed by the season debut of THE MEN IN BLAZERS SHOW, hosted by Roger Bennett and Michael Davies, featuring Everton manager Rafa Benítez at 2:30 p.m. ET.

This season, Peacock will stream all games airing on the NBC broadcast network live. In addition, Peacock will feature studio shows, full match replays and the Premier League TV channel. All matchdays and windows exclusively on Peacock will feature NBC Sports’ Premier League studio coverage.

NBC SPORTS CONNECTS AMERICAN TOWNS & PREMIER LEAGUE CLUBS: MANCHESTER, NEW HAMPSHIRE SUPPORTS MANCHESTER DERBY

This Thursday, NBC Sports heads to Manchester, New Hampshire, to celebrate Saturday’s Manchester Derby with a youth soccer clinic for junior high school and high school leagues and teams at 6 p.m. ET at Gill Stadium. The clinic will include t-shirt giveaways representing the Red of Manchester United and the Blue of Manchester City, life-size player cut outs, and an oversized Premier League soccer back.

This initiative is part of NBC Sports’ season launch activation showcasing American towns with the same name, or other connections, embracing the Premier League and its clubs, which are based thousands of miles away.

STAMFORD, Conn. – Sept. 16, 2021 – The 2021 Premier Lacrosse League champion will be crowned this Sunday when two-time defending champion Whipsnakes LC and attackman Matt Rambo face 2021 Jim Brown MVP award nominee Blaze Riorden and Chaos LC in a 2020 Championship rematch from Audi Field in Washington, D.C., at noon ET on NBC and Peacock. A Championship postgame show featuring the trophy presentation and exclusive player and coach interviews will stream exclusively on Peacock immediately following the matchup.

In last season’s Championship, Whipsnakes LC won their second straight title when they defeated Chaos 12-6 behind six goals by Zed Williams, who won Tournament MVP, at Zions Bank Stadium in Herriman, Utah.

Two weeks ago, Zed Williams tallied five goals to lead the Whipsnakes offensively in their 14-10 victory over the top-seeded Waterdogs in the semifinals. In the other semifinal, Chaos defeated Atlas 15-9 behind 17 saves by Riorden and six points from midfielder Dhane Smith.

Earlier this week, PLL co-founder and all-time professional lacrosse points leader Paul Rabil announced his retirement and future initiatives associated with the sport of lacrosse. A pair of 2021 Jim Brown MVP award nominees face off in the first semifinal when attackman Jeff Teat and Atlas LC face goalie Blaze Riorden and Chaos LC Sunday at 11 a.m. ET on NBCSN and Peacock. Teat, the first overall pick in the 2021 College Draft, tied for second in the league in points scored during the regular season (32).

A 30-minute program will be presented between the two semifinal matchups immediately following the conclusion of Atlas LC-Chaos LC, leading into the second semifinal when the two-time defending champion Whipsnakes LC and attackman Matt Rambo play 2021 Jim Brown MVP award nominee Zach Currier and Waterdogs LC at 1:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN and Peacock. Quarterfinals action is headlined by midfielder and PLL co-founder Paul Rabil of Cannons LC facing first overall pick in the 2021 College Draft, attackman Jeff Teat, of Atlas LC Saturday at 2:30 p.m. ET on NBC and Peacock.

The quarterfinals get underway on Friday in primetime when the PLL’s points leader attackman Grant Ament and Archers LC play 2020 Oren Lyons Goalie of the Year Blaze Riorden and Chaos LC at 8:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN and Peacock. Last weekend in the final week of the regular-season, Chaos defeated Archers 11-9 in a comeback victory.

The final semifinals berth will be on the line when the defending champion Whipsnakes LC and Matt Rambo face Myles Jones and Redwoods LC at 6 p.m. ET on NBCSN and Peacock.

Last Weekend’s Cannons LC Win Over Archers LC Marks Most-Watched PLL Game on NBCSN in League History

STAMFORD, Conn. – July 17, 2021 – The best lacrosse players in the world face off in the 2021 Premier Lacrosse League All-Star Game from PayPal Park in San Jose, Calif. tomorrow at 7 p.m. ET on NBCSN and Peacock. The PLL Skills Competition will be presented following the game at 9:30 p.m. ET exclusively on Peacock.

Current PLL points leader Grant Ament of Archers LC will lead the Adversaries team against the Defenders, captained by 2020 Oren Lyons Goalie of the Year Blaze Riorden of Chaos LC. The best players in the world, including Redwoods attackman Rob Pannell, Archers midfielder Tom Schreiber, Redwoods midfielder Myles Jones and Archers attackman Will Manny will take the field alongside Ament and Riorden. During halftime of the All-Star Game, the Fastest Shot competition will be held, which will feature each player taking two shots from 10 yards. Four additional Skills Competition events will be contested following the game at 9:30 p.m. ET exclusively on Peacock. Following is the order of the events:

  • Fastest Player: Players run from the end line to the top of the opposite 2-point arc, with the first 3 athletes to cross the line moving on to Round 2.

James Shuart Stadium in Hempstead, N.Y., will play host to five matchups, beginning tomorrow at 7 p.m. ET when the league-leading Archers LC aim to remain undefeated against Chrome LC exclusively on Peacock. Archers LC own the largest goal differential in the PLL (25) and are led offensively by attackman Grant Ament, who is second in the league in points (15) and first in assists (10).

Saturday’s doubleheader begins when Redwoods LC face Waterdogs LC at noon ET on NBC and Peacock. Redwoods attackman Rob Pannell leads the league in points (16). The second matchup of the afternoon is Cannons LC against Chaos LC at 3 p.m. ET on NBCSN and Peacock, which features Cannons midfielder and PLL co-founder Paul Rabil aiming to re-claim the all-time professional lacrosse points record. He currently trails John Grant Jr. by only two points.

NBC will present its first matchup of the 2021 season when the defending champion Whipsnakes LC play Cannons LC on Saturday, June 5, at noon ET. In a 2020 Championship rematch, the Whipsnakes defeated Chaos 13-7 in their season opener last Saturday, while the Cannons earned their first win in the PLL when they beat Waterdogs 13-7 last Sunday.

Former NFL wide receiver and PLL rookie Chris Hogan will make his league debut for Cannons LC on Saturday. Teammates Lyle Thompson (six goals) and Paul Rabil (five goals) rank tied for first and tied for third in the league lead in goals scored.

Redwoods LC, who sit atop the standings after a two-win opening weekend at Gillette Stadium last weekend, face Atlas LC Saturday at 3 p.m. ET on NBCSN and Peacock. Rob Pannell of the Redwoods currently leads the league in points with nine.
