STAMFORD, Conn. – March 16, 2023 – NBC Sports continues its coverage of the 2023 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship season with comprehensive live coverage of the Twelve Hours of Sebring endurance race from Sebring International Raceway in Florida this Saturday on Peacock and USA Network beginning at 10 a.m. ET. Peacock will live stream the entire race (10 a.m.–10:30 p.m. ET) with USA Network providing live coverage of the final six hours (4:30-10:30 p.m. ET).

The 71st edition of the race features many of the world’s most well-known drivers competing across five separate classes of competition: Grand Touring Prototype (GTP), Le Mans Prototype 2 (LMP2), Le Mans Prototype 3 (LMP3), GT Daytona Pro (GTD PRO), and GT Daytona (GTD). Highlighting the field is Helio Castroneves, Scott Dixon, Romain Grosjean, Scott McLaughlin, and Sebastien Bourdais. Coverage will feature an essay narrated by motorsports icon Sam Posey.

NBC Sports will utilize nine of its IMSA and INDYCAR commentators, analysts and reporters on-site at Sebring International Raceway, including its lead IMSA commentating team of play-by-play voice Leigh Diffey alongside 1990 Rolex 24 winner and former IMSA GT driver and analyst Calvin Fish and 2014 Rolex 24 winner and analyst Townsend Bell.

Kevin Lee, Dillon Welch, Hannah Newhouse, and Matt Yocum will serve as pit reporters. Brian Till (analyst) and Dave Burns (play-by-play) will also serve as commentators during the endurance race.

MONSTER ENERGY SUPERCROSS: DETROIT

Monster Energy Supercross rolls into the second half of the 2023 17-round season this weekend from Ford Field in Detroit, Mich., live on Saturday at 7 p.m. ET exclusively on Peacock.

Ken Roczen took home his first victory since January 2022 last week in Indianapolis, qualifying him for the SuperMotocross World Championship 450 playoffs. Cooper Webb finished third and moved into the 450SX Class points lead, one point ahead of reigning champion Eli Tomac. In the Eastern Regional 250SX Class, Hunter Lawrence won his fourth race of the season and remains atop the points standings.

STAMFORD, Conn. – Jan. 25, 2023 – NBC Sports begins its coverage of the 2023 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship season with comprehensive live coverage of the 61st Rolex 24 At Daytona endurance race from Daytona International Speedway this weekend on Peacock, NBC, and USA Network.

The Rolex 24 At Daytona features icons of the racing world competing on teams across five separate classes of competition: Grand Touring Prototype (GTP), Le Mans Prototype 2 (LMP2), Le Mans Prototype 3 (LMP3), GT Daytona Pro (GTD PRO), and GT Daytona (GTD).

This year’s race features a star-studded cast of the world’s most well-known drivers competing, including Helio Castroneves, Scott Dixon, Austin Cindric, Josef Newgarden, Colton Herta, Simon Pagenaud, Scott McLaughlin, and Romain Grosjean. Castroneves is aiming for his third straight Rolex 24 victory in the GTP class with Meyer Shank Racing.

In order to handle the 24 hours of coverage, NBC Sports will utilize 14 of its IMSA, NASCAR and INDYCAR commentators, analysts and reporters on-site at Daytona International Speedway, including its lead IMSA commentating team of play-by-play voice Leigh Diffey alongside 1990 Rolex 24 winner and former IMSA GT driver and analyst Calvin Fish and 2014 Rolex 24 winner and analyst Townsend Bell. Brian Till will also serve as an analyst during the endurance race.

Steve Letarte and fellow NBC Sports NASCAR analyst Jeff Burton will join INDYCAR analyst James Hinchcliffe and Marty Snider to provide analysis and anchor coverage from the Peacock Pit Box on pit road.

MONSTER ENERGY SUPERCROSS: ANAHEIM 2

The 2023 Monster Energy Supercross season concludes its California swing this weekend from Angel Stadium of Anaheim in California live on Saturday at 10 p.m. ET exclusively on Peacock. The race will be the first Triple Crown event of the year where three races will determine the champions in the 450SX and 250SX classes.

Reigning Supercross champion Eli Tomac earned his second consecutive victory in the 450SX Class last week in San Diego while Jett Lawrence also won his second straight race in the Western Regional 250SX Class. Saturday’s race will mark the second visit to Anaheim for the series following the season opener on January 7.

NASCAR HALL OF FAME INDUCTION CEREMONY

The NASCAR Hall of Fame Class of 2023 Induction Ceremony is presented this Friday live at 8 p.m. ET exclusively on Peacock. 2003 Cup Champion and two-time Daytona 500 winner Matt Kenseth, 1986 NASCAR West Series champion Hershel McGriff, and Kirk Shelmerdine, a four-time NASCAR Cup Series champion serving as a crew chief for fellow Hall of Famer Dale Earnhardt, make up the 13th annual NASCAR Hall of Fame class.

USA Network to Present 35+ Hours of Live IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship Coverage in 2023

STAMFORD, Conn. – Dec. 19, 2022 – NBC Sports will present more than 80 hours of the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship in 2023 across NBC, Peacock and USA Network, including live comprehensive coverage of the historic 61st Rolex 24 At Daytona endurance race at Daytona International Speedway on January 28-29.

NBC Sports’ 2023 IMSA schedule is highlighted by 12 hours of NBC broadcast network coverage, matching last year’s total which was the most since NBC Sports acquired the rights in 2018. Races airing on NBC include the Rolex 24 At Daytona, the two-hour, 40-minute race at picturesque WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca on Sun., May 14, the SportsCar Grand Prix at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park on Sun., July 9, and the return of the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship to Indianapolis Motor Speedway for the first time in nine years with the Battle on the Bricks on Sun., Sept. 17.

Peacock will serve as the streaming home of the WeatherTech Championship with flag-to-flag live coverage of all races as well as exclusive coverage for portions of select endurance races, including the Rolex 24 At Daytona, Twelve Hours of Sebring, Six Hours of The Glen and Petit Le Mans. Peacock will also again exclusively present live coverage of all IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge, VP Racing SportsCar Challenge and Lamborghini Super Trofeo races in 2023.

STAMFORD, Conn. – Sept. 29, 2022 – The 2022 NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs Round of 12 drives on this Sunday from Talladega Superspeedway in Alabama at 2 p.m. ET on NBC, marking the first of six consecutive Cup Series Playoff races to conclude the season on the broadcast network. A victory by a playoff driver at Talladega will automatically clinch them a spot in the Round of 8.

Racing icon and NBC Sports NASCAR analyst Kyle Petty previewed the weekend by saying, “Talladega has been NASCAR’s original wild card race since 1969. This year may be its biggest ever and I can’t wait to see what happens. This weekend is a must watch!”

In addition, seven consecutive hours of motorsports coverage Saturday on USA Network features the NASCAR Xfinity Series Playoff race at Talladega Superspeedway and the conclusion of the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship Motul Petit Le Mans season finale with coverage getting underway at 3:30 p.m. ET.

NASCAR: CUP SERIES YELLAWOOD 500 & XFINITY SERIES SPARKS 300

The NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs Round of 12 continues this Sunday at Talladega Superspeedway with a berth in the Round of 8 available with a win by a playoff driver. Joey Logano leads the playoff standings after a second-place finish in the Round of 12 opener at Texas Motor Speedway. Tyler Reddick won last week’s race in Texas.

Beginning a stretch of six consecutive Cup Series Playoff races on NBC to conclude the season, coverage of the YellaWood 500 at Talladega will be presented Sunday at 2 p.m. ET with an hour-long edition of Countdown to Green beginning pre-race coverage at 1 p.m. ET. NASCAR America post-race coverage will immediately follow the checkered flag at 6 p.m. ET on Peacock.

The Xfinity Series Playoffs Round of 12 continues Saturday with the Sparks 300 at Talladega Superspeedway at 4 p.m. ET on USA Network, with Countdown to Green getting underway at 3:30 p.m. ET. Noah Gragson has won four straight races and has secured a spot in the Round of 8.

STAMFORD, Conn. – June 2, 2022 – The 2022 NTT INDYCAR SERIES continues this weekend with live coverage of the Chevrolet Detroit Grand Prix from the Raceway at Belle Isle Park Sunday at 3 p.m. ET on USA Network and Peacock, marking the first of two races to be televised on USA Network this season.

Following his dramatic first-career Indianapolis 500 victory last Sunday, Marcus Ericsson of Chip Ganassi Racing leads the season points standings (226 pts) followed by Indy 500 runner-up Pato O’Ward (213) and reigning INDYCAR series champion Alex Palou (212). The top finishers in Sunday’s Indy 500 won both Chevrolet Detroit Grand Prix races last year — Ericsson (Race 1) and O’Ward (Race 2).

STAMFORD, Conn. – May 12, 2022 – The 2022 NTT INDYCAR SERIES begins the “Month of May” in full force with live coverage of the GMR Grand Prix at Indianapolis Motor Speedway this Saturday at 3 p.m. ET on NBC and Peacock.

Prior to race coverage, Penske Entertainment and NBC Sports will debut Pennzoil presents The Club, a documentary featuring the only conversation with the exclusive club of four-time Indy 500 champions – Helio Castroneves, A.J. Foyt, Al Unser and Rick Mears – Saturday at 2 p.m. ET on NBC.

The championship standings are incredibly tight heading into the GMR Grand Prix, led by reigning INDYCAR champion Alex Palou, who finished second at the Honda Grand Prix of Alabama on May 1. Team Penske drivers Scott McLaughlin, two-time INDYCAR champion Josef Newgarden, and 2018 Indy 500-winner Will Power are all within 10 points of Palou.

This week’s field also includes six-time INDYCAR champion Scott Dixon, seven-time NASCAR Cup Series champion Jimmie Johnson, four-time and defending Indianapolis 500 champion Helio Castroneves, and former Formula One racer Romain Grosjean, among others who are competing in the final race prior to the 106th Running of the Indianapolis 500 on Sunday, May 29. Reigning INDYCAR champion Alex Palou is part of a star-studded group of drivers that includes two-time INDYCAR champion Josef Newgarden, six-time INDYCAR champion Scott Dixon, seven-time NASCAR Cup Series champion Jimmie Johnson, four-time and defending Indianapolis 500 champion Helio Castroneves, and former Formula One racer Romain Grosjean, among others. Newgarden won the Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach in the series’ last race on April 10, with Grosjean and Palou rounding out the podium. Newgarden currently leads the standings (118 pts).
