Universal City, CA – March 26, 2010 – futbol on mun2 presents La Liga Mexicana Tigres vs. Toluca soccer match, live and in English this Saturday March 27th at 8:55pm ET, 5:55pm PT, only on mun2.

Tigres is in search of a victory in order to satisfy their loyal fans, who cannot bear another defeat at home after last week’s loss to Cruz Azul. Los Universitarios’ coach, Daniel “El Travieso” Guzmán, is under pressure to defeat the Diablos and earn three valuable points.

Toluca is seeking its second straight victory after having lost only one of its last five games.  Los Diablos Rojos are fighting to get into the playoffs and the three points from a win could help Toluca get past Atlas and Queretaro, who are also struggling for the second spot in Group 1.

Two players to watch in this match are Tigres Forward Itamar Batista of Brazil who has scored four goals in this Bicentenario and Toluca Forward Hector Raul Mancilla of Chile who has scored six.  Tigres has not defeated Toluca since Clausura 2005.

Universal City, CA – March 19, 2010 – futbol on mun2 presents Monterrey vs. Chivas  Mexican League soccer match, live and in English this Saturday March 20th at 5:55pm ET, 2:55pm PT, only on mun2.

The battle between Monterrey’s Rayados and Chivas of Guadalajara marks one of the most anticipated matches of the competition, as the top two teams of the Bicentennial Clausura 2010 face off at the Estadio Tecnologico in Monterrey, Mexico.  Both teams are serious candidates to star in the upcoming final, but before thinking about the playoffs, Monterrey (23 points) and Guadalajara (25 points) will go head to head in the Tecnologico to decide who deserves the top spot in the standings, “el superliderato.”

La Pandilla (Monterrey) is riding a streak of 10 undefeated home games in the league, and eight in this tournament. They are second in the general standings and the leader of Group 2. Monterrey is the best offense in the tournament with 21 goals in 10 games and the third-best defense with just nine goals allowed. Los Rayados have the best home record in the tournament and are currently on a five-game winning streak.

El Rebaño remains on top of the overall standings due to their eight consecutive victories in their first 8 matches. Chivas boasts the best performance for a team in 2010, with 25 points in 10 games, the product of eight wins and one draw, and only one defeat.

This also marks a significant match for the two goal scorers who are fighting for a spot in Mexico’s national team, Aldo de Nigris (Monterrey) and Javier “El Chicharito” Hernandez (Chivas), who will face off in this crucial game.

Tigres’ Midfielder, Lucas Lobos, and Forward, Itamar Batista, hope to get Tigres on track offensively in order to bring home a victory and provide a much needed vote of confidence for Head Coach, Daniel Guzman.

Monarcas, currently third in Group 2, have made believers of their fans, while Head Coach, Tomas Boy has the team playing well.  Led by Forward, Miguel Sabah, and Goalie, Moises Munoz, visiting Monarcas will try to neutralize Tigres’ home field advantage.
