STAMFORD, Conn. – June 14, 2023 – 2022 world 200m bronze medalist Erriyon Knighton headlines NBC Sports’ live coverage of the Diamond League in Oslo, Norway, tomorrow, Thursday, June 15, at 2 p.m. ET on Peacock from Bislett Stadium. The competition is expected to include 23 Olympic medalists.
Tokyo Olympic 1500m gold medalist Jakob Ingebrigtsen (Norway), who shattered the two-mile world record by more than four seconds at last week’s Paris Diamond League meet in a blistering 7:54.10, is expected to compete in his signature event, the 1500m. The race will serve as a rematch of the Tokyo Olympic 1500m, with all three medalists set to compete: gold medalist Ingebrigtsen, silver medalist Timothy Cheruiyot (Kenya) and bronze medalist Josh Kerr (Great Britain). Rising U.S. star Yared Nuguse and Ingebrigtsen’s older brother, Filip Ingebrigtsen, are also expected to toe the line.

In the 400m hurdles, reigning Olympic and world silver medalist Femke Bol (Netherlands) is set to take on 2022 world heptathlon bronze medalist Anna Hall.
U.S. stars expected to compete include Knighton, two-time Olympic 5000m medalist Paul Chelimo, U.S. 10,000m record holder Alicia Monson, 2022 U.S. 10,000m champion Joe Klecker, and Tokyo Olympic 1500m finalist Cory McGee competing in the historic Dream Mile.
