RotoHog, ScrollMotion, Smart Phone Studios and Zephz partner with the UFL
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASEJACKSONVILLE, FL – Thursday, September 23, 2010 – The United Football League is pleased to announce it has extended its commercial partnership deal with Men’s Wearhouse, and has also partnered with RotoHog, ScrollMotion and Zephz for the 2010 season.
Men’s Wearhouse is again the Official Men’s Clothing Sponsor of the UFL having originally come on board for the 2009 UFL Premier Season. Head coaches Jim Fassel, Dennis Green, Jay Gruden, Jeff Jagodzinski and Chris Palmer were all featured wearing Men’s Wearhouse suits when the UFL filmed a series of promotional videos earlier this year.
The first Men’s Wearhouse opened in Houston, Texas, in 1973, and has grown into one of the 100 Best Companies to Work for in America, according to FORTUNE Magazine. Men’s Wearhouse also is the official outfitter for UFL announcing teams on Versus, HDNet and New England Sports Network.
RotoHog award winning fantasy games is the Official Fantasy Game Provider of the UFL. RotoHog developed and manages ‘The Predictor Game’ – the UFL Fantasy Game for the 2010 season. Users may make predictions in five to 10 categories for each of the two weekly games (score, total touchdowns, total yards, etc.). Points are awarded based on how close users come to the final game results. All users are entered in a Global League, with an opportunity to win UFL prizes.
Users also have the option to create their own public and private leagues to compete against friends. Each user will be affiliated with their favorite UFL team, and Battle Leagues may be set up so that fans of opposing teams can compete in fantasy play when their teams are in opposition on the field.
ScrollMotion is the official application developer of the United Football League. The UFL iPhone app will house the official media guide, game day programs, player bios and stats, news, etc. ScrollMotion has developed technology for the delivery of content to mobile devices, including, but not limited to, Apple’s iPhone, Google’s Android and RIM’s Blackberry.
Smart Phone Studios is developing game day oriented iPhone apps for each of the five UFL teams. The iPhone apps focus on fans and the community and will contain updated team information, interactive maps and social media elements. Smart Phone Studios is a San Francisco based provider of mobile marketing solutions for causes and events.
