NBC Broadcasts Final Day of Royal Ascot This Saturday at 9 a.m. ET

STAMFORD, Conn. – June 17, 2019 – NBC Sports presents daily live coverage of the Royal Meeting in Ascot, England beginning tomorrow, Tuesday, June 18, at 8:30 a.m. ET on NBCSN. Daily telecasts of the full five-day Royal Meeting will air on NBCSN through Friday, June 21, and conclude on NBC this Saturday, June 22, at 9 a.m. ET. In total, NBC Sports Group will present 22 hours of coverage over the five days.
Royal Ascot is Britain’s most valuable race meeting and features 30 races, including eight at the world championship “Group One” level. Highlighting this year’s American contingent is trainer Wesley Ward, who has won 10 races at Royal Ascot since 2009. His contingent this year is highlighted by Maven, a son of Triple Crown-winner American Pharoah.
The Royal Meeting is the center of the British social season and a pivotal week in the calendar of the Royal Family, who arrive each day by the world famous “Royal Procession.” Queen Elizabeth II has attended Royal Ascot every year since 1945.
Making her Royal Ascot debut, Britney Eurton will co-host NBC Sports’ comprehensive coverage for all five telecasts alongside Nick Luck, while handicapper/analyst Eddie Olczyk will work Ascot for the first time, on Friday, June 21 and Saturday, June 22. In addition, NBC News’ Dylan Dreyer will join the broadcast on Friday, also reporting live from Ascot on TODAY, and Saturday.
