NBA Digital launches Game Time application for
Android™-powered T-Mobile G1™ for the 2009 NBA Playoffs
– NBA becomes first major sports league to provide an application for the T-Mobile G1 –
– New application features easy-to-navigate live game scores, schedules and Playoff brackets –
NBA Digital announced today the launch of the new NBA Game Time mobile application for the T-Mobile G1™ with Google. With the announcement, the NBA, through its jointly-managed NBA Digital portfolio with Turner Sports, becomes the first major sports league to develop an application for the Android Market, which is currently only available on the T-Mobile G1 sold by league marketing partner T-Mobile USA, Inc.
The free application, available today and throughout the entire 2009 NBA Playoffs, can be accessed through the Android Market on the T-Mobile G1 and includes easy-to-navigate live game scores, stats and schedules. NBA Playoff brackets will also be featured through a free upgrade just before the start of the postseason.

The NBA Game Time application has been designed with a simple interface for fans, focused on live at-a-glance information, including scores, stats, standings and national and local TV schedules.
NBA Digital is a landmark partnership between the NBA and Turner Sports to jointly manage the NBA’s digital assets, which include NBA TV, NBA.com, NBA LEAGUE PASS, NBADLeague.com and WNBA.com.
