AVP PRO BEACH VOLLEYBALL TOUR COVERAGE CONTINUES FROM SEATTLE NEXT TUESDAY, JUNE 26, AT 7 PM ET ON NBCSN

Chris Marlowe, Kevin Wong & Dain Blanton to Call the Action

STAMFORD, Conn. – June 21, 2018 – NBC Sports Group continues coverage of the 2018 AVP Pro Beach Volleyball Tour Tuesday, June 26, at 7 p.m. ET on NBCSN from Seattle, Wash.

In the men’s field, 2008 Olympic gold medalist Phil Dalhausser and his partner Nick Lucena enter the tournament as the number one seed. They have won the first two tournaments on this year’s AVP Tour and look to continue the streak in Seattle. Other players in the men’s field to watch out for include Olympian Jake Gibb, with partner Taylor Crabb, and Casey Patterson, with partner and 2017 Seattle Open champion, Stafford Slick.

Two-time Olympic medalist April Ross will partner with AVP 2017 Most Improved Player, Caitlin Ledoux, for Seattle, and are expected to headline the women’s field. They enter the tournament as the number three seed.

Veteran broadcaster and Olympic gold medalist Chris Marlowe calls the action, joined by beach volleyball Olympian and three-time All-American Kevin Wong (analyst), and Dain Blanton (reporter).

Final Rio Olympic Games Beach Volleyball Qualifier Held in the United States

STAMFORD, Conn. – August 20, 2015 – NBC Sports Group and Universal Sports Network will serve up 14 hours of coverage of the 2015 ASICS World Series of Beach Volleyball this weekend from Long Beach, Calif., including three hours of live television coverage on NBC, four hours on NBCSN, and seven hours on Universal Sports Network. Additionally, NBC Sports Live Extra will stream all NBC and NBCSN telecasts.

Featuring the world’s top beach volleyball athletes, including 40 Olympians, the ASICS World Series of Beach Volleyball will serve as the final Rio Olympic Games beach volleyball qualifying event played in the United States. The event will bring together the best American teams, along with a strong collection of international talent. Athletes participating in the 2015 World Series of Beach Volleyball include Americans; Kerri Walsh Jennings, April Ross, Phil Dalhausser, Nick Lucena, and Sean Rosenthal as well as many of the top beach volleyball players from Brazil, Italy and Germany. All athletes will compete for a prize purse of $800,000.

Television coverage begins Saturday at 4:30 p.m. ET on NBC, and continues through Tuesday on NBC, NBCSN and Universal Sports Network.

Olympic gold medalist and veteran play-by-play commentator Chris Marlowe will call the action from Long Beach. Marlowe will be joined by beach volleyball Olympian and three-time All-American Kevin Wong, who will serve as an analyst. Dain Blanton will report from the sideline.
