Sunday’s Arsenal-Liverpool Match Exclusively on Peacock is Most-Streamed Premier League Match in U.S. History

STAMFORD, Conn. – Feb. 7, 2024 – Fourth-place Aston Villa host Manchester United this Sunday, Feb. 11, at 11:30 a.m. ET on USA Network and Telemundo, headlining Premier League action across NBC Sports this weekend.

Aston Villa topped Sheffield United, 5-0, on Saturday to climb into fourth place in the Premier League table. Ollie Watkins, who scored and tallied two assists in the win, is the first PL player to reach double digit goals (11) and assists (10) this season. Manchester United defeated West Ham, 3-0, this weekend behind Alejandro Garnacho’s brace. Jon Champion and Graeme Le Saux will call the match live from Villa Park.

This weekend’s coverage begins Saturday with Premier League Mornings at 7 a.m. ET on USA Network, followed by Erling Haaland and second-place Manchester City hosting Everton at 7:30 a.m. ET on USA Network, Telemundo, and Universo.

At 10 a.m. ET on Saturday, NBC Sports presents five matches live: Liverpool v. Burnley (USA Network, Telemundo, Universo), Tottenham v. Brighton & Hove Albion (Peacock), Fulham v. Bournemouth (Peacock), Luton Town v. Sheffield United (Peacock), and Wolverhampton Wanderers v. Brentford (Peacock). The Goal Rush whip-around show will stream live on Peacock Saturday at 10 a.m. ET, providing viewers the most compelling action in real time and on replay so they won’t miss a single goal or key play.

Then at 12:30 p.m. ET on Saturday, Nottingham Forest host Newcastle on NBC, Peacock and Universo. USMNT midfielder Gio Reyna made his Nottingham Forest debut last weekend in a 1-1 draw with Bournemouth after joining on loan from Borussia Dortmund in the January transfer window. Peter Drury and Le Saux will call the action live from The City Ground.

Sunday’s coverage begins at 8 a.m. ET with Premier League Mornings on USA Network, followed by third-place Arsenal, who defeated first-place Liverpool, 3-1, on Sunday, visiting West Ham at 9 a.m. ET on USA Network and Telemundo. Liverpool on Sunday, February 4 – exclusively on Peacock – is the most-streamed Premier League match in United States history, with an Average Minute Audience (AMA) of 1.15 million viewers across English and Spanish-language presentations.

With Sunday’s record-setting viewership, two of the three most-streamed Premier League matches in U.S. history have come on the heels of Peacock’s milestone exclusive AFC Wild Card game, which was the most-streamed event ever in the U.S. averaging approximately 23 million viewers. The Manchester United v. Tottenham matchup on Jan. 14, 2024, delivered an AMA of 882,000 total viewers, ranking third all-time behind Chelsea-Liverpool on Peacock on August 13, 2023.

Most recently, Liverpool topped Bournemouth, 4-0, on Jan. 21 behind braces from Darwin Nunez and Diogo Jota. Chelsea defeated Fulham, 1-0, on Jan. 13, marking the Blues’ third straight PL victory. Peter Drury and Graeme Le Saux will call the match live from Anfield.

STAMFORD, Conn. – Jan. 11, 2024 – The Premier League returns to action across NBC Sports platforms this weekend, headlined by Marcus Rashford and Manchester United hosting Richarlison and Tottenham his Sunday, Jan. 14, at 11:30 a.m. ET exclusively on Peacock.

Manchester United looks to rebound from a 2-1 loss to Nottingham Forest in their most recent Premier League match on Dec. 30. Tottenham are coming off a 3-1 victory against Bournemouth on Dec. 31 and currently sit fifth in the Premier League table. Jon Champion and Graeme Le Saux will have the call of Manchester United v. Tottenham from Old Trafford. Peacock will also present the match live in Spanish.

This weekend’s coverage also features Julian Alvarez and Manchester City visiting Alexander Isak and Newcastle this Saturday, Jan. 13, at 12:30 p.m. ET on NBC, Peacock and Universo. Manchester City are third in the Premier League table and most recently defeated Sheffield United, 2-0, on Dec. 30. Newcastle have lost three straight Premier League matches, including a 4-2 defeat against Liverpool on Jan. 1. Peter Drury and Le Saux will have the call from St. James’ Park.

This week’s Premier League coverage begins at 2 p.m. ET with Premier League Live on USA Network, leading into Burnley v. Luton Town at 2:45 p.m. ET. Premier League Mornings kicks off Saturday’s coverage at 7 a.m. ET on USA Network, leading into Chelsea v. Fulham at 7:30 p.m. ET on USA Network and Universo. Sunday’s coverage begins at 8 a.m. ET with Premier League Mornings, followed by Everton v. Aston Villa at 9 a.m. ET on USA Network and Telemundo.

NBC Sports’ studio team of host Rebecca Lowe and analysts Robbie Earle, Robbie Mustoe and Tim Howard will broadcast Premier League Mornings Live presented by Barclays, from the event on USA Network and Peacock on Saturday, April 6, and Sunday, April 7. The group will be joined by several special guests, who will help bring the celebration to viewers across the country. Telemundo Deportes provide on-location reports from the Fan Fest into weekend coverage on Telemundo and Universo. The Nashville fan festival is the ninth Premier League Mornings Live supporter event to be presented by NBC Sports and the Premier League. Previous fan festivals were held in Washington D.C., New York, Boston, Austin, Miami Beach, Los Angeles, Philadelphia and Orlando. Nearly 70,000 soccer fans in the U.S. have attended Premier League Mornings Live events to date, all of which aim to recreate a matchday experience for attending supporters, while demonstrating the energy and passion for the Premier League and its clubs to the millions of fans watching the broadcast from home.

“Festive Fixtures” coverage kicks off tomorrow as Crystal Palace host Brighton & Hove Albion at 3 p.m. ET on USA Network and Universo. This Friday, Dec. 22, third-place Aston Villa, winners of five of their past six Premier League matches, host Sheffield United at 3 p.m. ET on USA Network.

Coverage on Saturday, Dec. 23, begins with Premier League Mornings at 7 a.m. ET on USA Network, followed by Manchester United visiting West Ham at 7:30 a.m. ET (USA Network). STAMFORD, Conn. – December 13, 2023 – Mohamed Salah and first-place Liverpool host Scott McTominay and Manchester United this Sunday at 11:30 a.m. ET on NBC, Peacock, and Telemundo, headlining NBC Sports’ Premier League coverage this week.

Liverpool moved to the top of the Premier League table following a 2-1 come-from-behind victory against Crystal Palace last weekend, as Salah and Harvey Elliott scored late following a Crystal Palace red card in the 75th minute. Manchester United are looking to rebound from a 3-0 loss to Bournemouth at Old Trafford, the first time that United had lost by at least three goals at home to a team which started the match in the bottom half of the table. Jon Champion and Lee Dixon will have the call from Anfield. Telemundo will also present coverage of Liverpool-Manchester United in Spanish.

This week’s coverage begins Friday at 2 p.m. ET on USA Network with Premier League Live, leading into Nottingham Forest v. Tottenham at 3 p.m. ET (USA Network, Universo). Saturday’s coverage begins at 9 a.m. ET with Premier League Mornings on USA Network, leading into four matches at 10 a.m. ET, headlined by Manchester City v. Crystal Palace (USA Network, Telemundo and Universo). Peacock will also stream coverage of three 10 a.m. ET matches – Chelsea v. Sheffield United, Newcastle v. Fulham, and Bournemouth v. Luton Town – and the Goal Rush whip-around show to provide viewers the most compelling action in real time and on replay so they won’t miss a single goal or key play. Saturday’s slate of games concludes on NBC and Peacock at 12:30 p.m. ET when Burnley host Everton. Peter Drury and Dixon will have the call of Burnley-Everton from Turf Moor.

Sunday’s coverage begins at 8 a.m. ET on USA Network with Premier League Mornings, leading into three 9 a.m. ET matches – Arsenal v. Brighton & Hove Albion (USA Network, Telemundo), Brentford v. Aston Villa (Peacock) and West Ham v. Wolverhampton Wanderers (Peacock).

Rebecca Lowe hosts Saturday and Sunday’s Premier League Mornings, Premier League Live and Goal Zone shows alongside former Premier League player Robbie Mustoe and former USMNT and Premier League player Tim Howard. Anna Jackson hosts Friday’s coverage with Howard and former Premier League player Danny Higginbotham.

ASTON VILLA-ARSENAL MATCH DELIVERS SECOND-MOST WATCHED MATCH OF 2023-24 SEASON

NBC Sports’ coverage of Aston Villa v. Arsenal last Saturday on NBC and Peacock produced a Total Audience Delivery of 1.39 million English-language viewers to rank as its second-most watched match of the 2023-24 season, trailing only the Arsenal-Manchester United match from Matchweek 4 on NBC and Peacock (1.48 million viewers).

Through last week’s matches, the 2023-24 Premier League season has delivered a TAD of 526,000 viewers to rank as the most-watched season to date since 2015-16, and up 7% vs. 2022-23.

STAMFORD, Conn. – December 5, 2023 – Midweek matches return to the Premier League this week, highlighted by Manchester United v. Chelsea and Aston Villa v. Manchester City tomorrow at 3:15 p.m. ET exclusively on Peacock, as NBC Sports presents 20 matches across its platforms today through this Sunday.

This weekend’s coverage is headlined by first-place Arsenal visiting Aston Villa this Saturday, Dec. 9, at 12:30 p.m. ET on NBC, Peacock and Telemundo. Arsenal head into the week atop the Premier League table following a 2-1 win vs. Wolverhampton Wanderers, while Villa are currently in fourth after a 2-2 draw with Bournemouth. Peter Drury and Lee Dixon will have the call from Villa Park.

Midweek coverage kicks off today with a pair of matches, beginning with Wolverhampton Wanderers v. Burnley at 2:30 p.m. ET on USA Network, as well as Luton Town v. Arsenal at 3:15 p.m. ET on Peacock.

Tomorrow’s coverage features four matches in the 2:30 p.m. ET window: Fulham v. Nottingham Forest (USA Network), Sheffield United v. Liverpool (Peacock), Brighton & Hove Albion v. Brentford (Peacock) and Crystal Palace v. Bournemouth (Peacock). The Goal Rush whip-around show will stream live on Peacock at 2:30 p.m. ET to provide viewers the most compelling action in real time and on replay.
