MIKE GOLIC JOINS PRO FOOTBALL TALK WITH MIKE FLORIO ON MONDAY MORNINGS

STAMFORD, Conn. – Sept. 10, 2021 – Former NFL player and longtime sports commentator Mike Golic is joining Pro Football Talk with Mike Florio every Monday morning during the 2021 NFL season. Golic and Florio will analyze results from the weekend’s games and discuss the news from around the league, beginning this Monday, following Kickoff Weekend.

Golic, a nine-year NFL defensive lineman, was drafted by the Houston Oilers in the 1985 NFL Draft after a standout career at the University of Notre Dame where he served as team captain and wrestled for the Fighting Irish.

A member of the National Association of Broadcasters Broadcasting Hall of Fame, Golic’s commentating career includes two-plus decades with ESPN, where he served as an analyst and host on numerous radio and television programs covering professional and college football, including co-hosting the long-running ‘Mike & Mike’ and ‘Golic & Wingo’ radio shows.

“It’s so great to have Mike Golic join the show,” said Florio. “I could be wrong, but I think it’s the first time in broadcasting history that a morning show that focuses on sports will be hosted by two guys named Mike.”

Pro Football Talk streams live on Peacock’s NBC Sports on Peacock channel from 7 a.m. – 9 a.m. ET on weekdays and re-airs at 9 a.m. ET on NBCSN. Florio is joined by co-host and former NFL quarterback Chris Simms from Tuesday – Thursday, with a special guest co-hosting on Fridays.

STAMFORD, Conn. – March 19, 2020 – PFT Live, hosted by NFL Insider Mike Florio and analyst Chris Simms, returns to NBCSN beginning Monday, March 23, in its usual weekday timeslot from 7–9 a.m. ET to analyze and discuss the latest news surrounding NFL free agency and the upcoming NFL Draft.

NBC Sports NFL Insider Peter King will also continue to make regular appearances on PFT Live, reporting on offseason activity from around the league.

With the new league year underway, Florio and Simms will provide the most up-to-date information and analysis on all free agency news and rumors, while continuing to preview the upcoming NFL Draft in April and other offseason news. PFT Live will also return on Sky Sports in the U.K. and Ireland.

Simms’ podcast, Simms Unbuttoned, will also return next week as he dives into the latest news and gives his take on all offseason happenings.

Stamford, Conn. – August 4, 2015 – Two-time Super Bowl champion and veteran Football Night In America studio analyst Rodney Harrison will join co-hosts Mike Florio and Paul Burmeister every weekday throughout the 2015 season on NBCSN’s Pro Football Talk.

 

The show’s new format debuts Monday, August 10, at 6:30 p.m. ET, although it will regularly air each weekday at 6 p.m. ET. NBCSN’s two additional NFL programs, Fantasy Football Live and NFL Turning Point, will debut on Tuesday, August 11, at 6:30 p.m. ET, and Wednesday, September 16, at 10 p.m. ET, respectively.

 

PRO FOOTBALL TALK

The 30-minute Pro Football Talk provides all-encompassing coverage of the NFL, including the most current news and analysis, thought-provoking debates, and interviews with a wide variety of NFL newsmakers. (Pro Football Talk will occasionally air at 6:30 p.m. ET on select nights during the 2015-16 Premier League season.)

FANTASY FOOTBALL LIVE

NBCSN’s third season of Fantasy Football Live will debut Tuesday, August 11, at 6:30 p.m. ET., following Pro Football Talk. The 30-minute, multi-platform fantasy football program will once again air Tuesday through Thursday nights during the NFL regular season.

 

Fantasy Football Live on NBCSN combines the best fantasy football expertise from Yahoo Sports and NBC Sports, including unique metrics from Yahoo Sports’ leading fantasy football platform, and full integration with NBC Sports’ premier fantasy sports information site, Rotoworld.com.

 

Fantasy Football Live is hosted by NBC Sports’ Dave Briggs, and features a roster of NBC Sports, Rotoworld and Yahoo Sports fantasy analysts, including NBCSN’s Kay Adams, NBC Sports NFL analysts Brian Westbrook, Jon Ritchie and Ross Tucker, and Yahoo Sports’ Brad Evans, Brandon Funston and Andy Behrens.

 

Leading up to Week 1 of the season, Fantasy Football Live will feature extensive draft preview coverage. The fifth season of Emmy Award-nominated NFL Turning Point, NBCSN’s weekly NFL show co-produced by NFL Films, will debut Wednesday, September 16, at 10 p.m. ET, its regular timeslot.

 

Hosted by Football Night In America’s Dan Patrick, the hour-long program will air weekly throughout the entire NFL season, including the playoffs and Super Bowl.

 

Each week NFL Turning Point is built around select NFL matchups from the previous weekend, and focuses on the crucial “turning point” moments that ultimately defined the outcome of each game. The show also features anatomy-of-a-play type segments and long-form game-of-the-week style narratives that include pre-game and post-game access, sideline sounds, jaw-dropping cinematography and incredible storytelling that is synonymous with NFL Films.

 

In 2015 NBCSN will air a total of 22 episodes. The season finale, scheduled to air on Wednesday, February 4, 2016, will look back at the turning point of Super Bowl 50.
