STAMFORD, Conn. – Feb. 20, 2022 – NBC Olympics’ figure skating commentators Terry Gannon, Tara Lipinski, and Johnny Weir host primetime coverage of the Closing Ceremony of the 2022 Winter Olympics from the Beijing National Stadium tonight at 8 p.m. ET on NBC and Peacock.

The enhanced primetime presentation of the Closing Ceremony features athlete interviews, profiles, a countdown of the top moments of the Games, and more.

Andrea Joyce, who worked the 2022 Winter Olympics Opening Ceremony, will join NBC News’ Sam Brock and Anne Thompson as on-site reporters for the Closing Ceremony.

Mike Tirico opens tonight’s primetime coverage at 7 p.m. ET with Olympic Gold, a look back at the Games’ most memorable performances, on NBC and Peacock. Andy Browne, the Editorial Director of Bloomberg New Economy Forum, and Jing Tsu, the John M. Schiff Professor of East Asian Studies & Comparative Literature at Yale University and author of Kingdom of Characters, a book about the politics of the Chinese language, join the one-hour special and provide context and closing thoughts on the Games.

Tirico interviews IOC President Thomas Bach about the 2022 Winter Olympics during today’s daytime coverage on NBC and Peacock. The two segments are scheduled to air at 2:55 p.m. ET and 4:45 p.m. ET.

Also among highlights of this afternoon’s 2 p.m. ET daytime coverage on NBC and Peacock are the figure skating gala, featuring Beijing Olympics gold medalist Nathan Chen, Vincent Zhou, and Alysa Liu as well as Jessie Diggins winning a silver medal in the women’s cross-country skiing 30km.

Elana Meyers Taylor, who won the silver medal in monobob and bronze medal in two-woman bobsled at the 2022 Winter Olympics to bring her career Olympic medal total to five, was selected by her teammates to serve as the flag bearer at the Closing Ceremony for the United States.

This marks the third consecutive Olympics that Gannon, Lipinski, and Weir serve as Closing Ceremony hosts (Tokyo and PyeongChang). NBCOlympics.com and the NBC Sports app, via authentication, will also stream the enhanced primetime presentation of the Closing Ceremony at 8 p.m. ET.

STAMFORD, Conn. – Feb. 19, 2022 – Two-time Olympic gold medalist Mikaela Shiffrin competes as part of the alpine skiing team event tonight live in primetime at 8 p.m. ET on USA Network and Peacock with an encore at 11:30 p.m. ET on NBC, and the pairs’ figure skating free skate airs tonight in primetime at 8 p.m. ET on NBC and Peacock.

SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 19

The alpine skiing team event will be presented tonight live at 8 p.m. ET on USA Network and Peacock (encore at 11:30 p.m. ET on NBC). Two-time Olympic gold medalist Mikaela Shiffrin will compete and become the second woman in Olympic history to race in all six alpine skiing events on the Olympic program. With a medal, she will tie Julia Mancuso as the most decorated U.S. women’s alpine skier in Olympic history. Three-time Olympian Tommy Ford, River Radamus and Paula Moltzan will join Shiffrin as part of the American contingent. The event was postponed yesterday due to weather.

The free skate in the pairs’ competition will be presented tonight in primetime at 8 p.m. ET on NBC and Peacock. The pairs’ competition will mark the final medal event in figure skating at the 2022 Winter Olympics. Americans Alexa Knierim/Brandon Frazier (sixth) and Ashley Cain-Gribble/Timothy LeDuc (eighth) finishes in the top ten in the standings.

Elana Meyers Taylor/Sylvia Hoffman win the bronze medal in the two-woman bobsled tonight in primetime on NBC and Peacock. Meyers Taylor has now won five career Olympic medals, extending her record for the most women’s bobsled medals in Olympic history. Monobob gold medalist Kaillie Humphries pilots the other American sled with Kaysha Love and finishes in seventh place.

The men’s hockey gold medal game between Finland and the Russian Olympic Committee will be presented tonight live at 11:10 p.m. ET on USA Network and Peacock.

FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 18

Alexa Knierim/Brandon Frazier and Ashley Cain-Gribble/Timothy LeDuc will represent Team USA in the pairs’ figure skating short program tomorrow live at 5:30 a.m. ET on USA Network (encore in primetime on NBC).

The team event marks the final alpine skiing event in Beijing and will be presented tomorrow live at 10 p.m. ET on USA Network and Peacock (encore at 9:30 p.m. PT/12:30 a.m. ET on NBC). Two-time Olympic gold medalist Mikaela Shiffrin will compete and become the second woman in Olympic history to race in all six alpine skiing events on the Olympic program. With a medal, she will tie Julia Mancuso as the most decorated U.S. women’s alpine skier in Olympic history.

In freestyle skiing, the men’s halfpipe final will conclude Olympic competition in the discipline when the event is presented tomorrow live at 8:30 p.m. ET on USA Network and Peacock, with a portion airing live on NBC. The Americans will have several medal contenders, including two-time Olympic gold-medalist David Wise, three-time Olympian Aaron Blunk, 2018 Olympic silver medalist Alex Ferreira, and 2021 world championship bronze medalist Birk Irving.

SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 19

The free skate in the pairs’ competition will be presented Saturday live at 6 a.m. ET on USA Network and Peacock (encore in primetime on NBC). The pairs’ competition will mark the final medal event in figure skating at the 2022 Winter Olympics.

The men’s hockey gold medal game will be presented Saturday live at 11:10 p.m. ET on USA Network and Peacock.

The third and final runs in the two-woman bobsled will be presented Saturday in primetime on NBC and Peacock and will feature two American sleds — piloted by monobob gold and silver medalists Kaillie Humphries and Elana Meyers Taylor — which are expected to be in medal contention: Humphries/Kaysha Love and Meyers Taylor/Sylvia Hoffman.

Medals will be handed out in the women’s freestyle skiing slopestyle final tonight live in primetime on NBC and Peacock. 2018 Olympian Maggie Voisin is expected to vie for a spot on the podium, while Beijing Olympics gold medalist Eileen Gu (China) is also expected to be a medal contender.

The women’s short program portion of the women’s individual skate will be presented tomorrow live at 5 a.m. ET on USA Network and Peacock (encore in primetime on NBC) and is expected to feature a trio of Americans: two-time Olympian Karen Chen, two-time U.S. champion Alysa Liu, and Mariah Bell. Kamila Valiyeva of the Russian Olympic Committee is also expected to compete.

First-time Olympians River Radamus and Luke Winters are expected to headline the American men’s team in the slalom event with the first run presented tomorrow live in primetime on NBC and Peacock, and the final run at 12:45 a.m. ET. Radamus earned a fourth-place finish in the giant slalom on Saturday.

The final in the men’s freestyle skiing slopestyle will be presented tomorrow live at 8:30 p.m. ET on USA Network and Peacock. Two-time Olympic medalist Nick Goepper and two-time Olympian Alex Hall are expected to contend for medals.

The U.S. women’s curling team, skipped by two-time Olympian Tabitha Peterson, plays Canada in round-robin play tomorrow live at 8 p.m. ET on CNBC and Peacock. The team is currently 4-2 and sits third in the standings.

In a gold medal game rematch from the 2018 Winter Olympics, the U.S. women’s hockey team plays rival Canada Wednesday live at 11:10 p.m. ET on NBC and Peacock. The U.S. and Canada have met in five of six Olympic gold medal games, with the Americans winning gold in a thrilling penalty shootout victory in PyeongChang.

Mikaela Shiffrin is also expected to be a medal contender in the women’s combined, which gets underway with the downhill run Wednesday live in primetime on NBC and Peacock and the slalom run presented live at 10:10 p.m. PT/1:10 a.m. ET on USA Network and Peacock.

Live 2022 Winter Olympics coverage began this morning at 8 a.m. ET and continues on NBC and Peacock, leading into Super Bowl LVI pregame coverage at noon ET.

Following the presentation of the Lombardi Trophy to the Super Bowl champions, live coverage from Beijing continues with the Winter Olympics Primetime Show, which will feature gold medals awarded in ice dance and monobob, at approximately 10:45 p.m. ET on NBC and Peacock.

The American pairs of Madison Hubbell/Zach Donohue and Madison Chock/Evan Bates are third and fourth in the ice dance standings following the rhythm dance portion. Tonight, they go for gold in the free dance program.

The U.S. women’s curling team, skipped by two-time Olympian Tabitha Peterson, plays Canada in round-robin play Tuesday live at 8 p.m. ET on CNBC and Peacock. The team is currently 3-2.

STAMFORD, Conn. – Feb. 12, 2022 – The U.S. ice dance teams, men’s giant slalom event and three-time Olympic medalist Elana Meyers Taylor making her 2022 Winter Olympics debut in monobob headline tonight’s live primetime coverage at 8 p.m. ET on NBC and Peacock.

SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 12

The rhythm dance portion of the ice dance competition in figure skating is presented tonight in primetime on NBC. The duos of Madison Hubbell/Zach Donohue and Madison Chock/Evan Bates are currently third and fourth in the standings, respectively.

The monobob will make its Olympic debut with the event’s first and second runs tonight live in primetime at 8 p.m. ET on NBC and Peacock. Americans Elana Meyers Taylor and Kaillie Humphries are the only women’s bobsled athletes to have won three Olympic medals.

Beijing Olympics silver medalist Ryan Cochran-Siegle and three-time Olympian Tommy Ford will headline the American men’s team in the giant slalom event with the first run presented tonight live in primetime on NBC and Peacock, and the final run at 1 a.m. ET.

The U.S. men’s curling team, skipped by 2018 Olympic gold medalist John Shuster, plays Canada in round-robin play tonight live at 8 p.m. ET on CNBC and Peacock. In their gold medal defense, the team is 2-2, including victories over Great Britain and the Russian Olympic Committee.

SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 13

As part of NBC Sports’ “Super Gold Sunday,” live 2022 Winter Olympics coverage will get underway tomorrow at 8 a.m. ET on NBC and Peacock with the men’s speed skating team pursuit quarterfinals. The Americans are expected to contend for a medal in the event. NBC will present four hours of coverage tomorrow morning, leading into Super Bowl LVI pregame coverage at noon ET.

Also tomorrow morning, the U.S. men’s ice hockey team concludes pool play when they face Germany live at 8:10 a.m. ET on USA Network and Peacock (NBC will air a portion of the matchup). The U.S. defeated Canada 4-2 behind two points from Andy Miele (one goal and one assist) earlier today.

Two-time Olympic gold medalist Mikaela Shiffrin may compete in the women’s downhill event on Monday live in primetime at 8 p.m. ET on NBC and Peacock.

The women’s snowboarding big air final, expected to feature two-time Olympic gold medalist and 2018 big air Olympic silver medalist Jamie Anderson along with 2022 Winter Olympics silver medalist Julia Marino, will also air Monday in primetime on NBC and Peacock.
