STAMFORD, Conn. – June 8, 2023 – NBC Sports’ live coverage of 2023 Roland-Garros matches continues this weekend with the final rounds from Paris, France, on NBC and Peacock.

Coverage of the women’s semifinals today and the men’s semifinals tomorrow, Friday, June 9, begins at 11 a.m. ET live on the East Coast on NBC and live across the country only on Peacock.

The Grand Slam culminates with the women’s final live this Saturday, June 10 at 9 a.m. ET and the men’s final live Sunday, June 11 at 9 a.m. ET on NBC and Peacock.

The men’s semifinals feature a showdown of two of the top players in the world as World No. 3 Novak Djokovic faces World No. 1 Carlos Alcaraz. Djokovic defeated Karen Khachanov in the quarterfinals. Djokovic, who is tied with reigning Roland-Garros champion Rafael Nadal for the most men’s Grand Slam titles of all-time (22), would stand alone with the most career men’s Grand Slam championships with a title at Roland-Garros. The 20-year-old Alcaraz, who won the 2022 U.S. Open, topped World No. 5 Stefanos Tsitsipas in straight sets in the quarterfinals. Djokovic and Alcaraz have played once, with Alcaraz defeating Djokovic in the semifinals of the 2022 Madrid Open.

Additionally in the men’s semifinal, World No. 4 Casper Ruud, the 2022 Roland-Garros runner-up, faces World No. 22 Alexander Zverev, who has advanced to the Roland-Garros semifinals for the third consecutive year and is in search of his first Grand Slam title.

On the women’s side, World No. 1 and three-time Grand Slam winner Iga Świątek of Poland, aiming to defend her 2022 Roland-Garros title, faces Brazil’s Beatriz Haddad Maia. Świątek defeated World No. 6 and 2022 Roland-Garros runner-up Coco Gauff in the quarterfinals and has yet to drop a set this tournament. She has won three career Grand Slam titles, including two at Roland-Garros (2020, 2022). Additionally, World No. 2 Aryna Sabalenka matches up against Karolína Muchová in the women’s semifinal match.

NBC Sports’ Dan Hicks handles play-by-play alongside analysts Mary Carillo and John McEnroe, who teamed to win the mixed doubles title at the 1977 French Open. McEnroe is a seven-time Grand Slam singles champion.

Maria Taylor will host women’s and men’s semifinal and final coverage from on-site in Paris, anchoring coverage around the matches. She will also interview the women’s and men’s champions on Court Philippe-Chatrier on Saturday and Sunday.

STAMFORD, Conn. – June 1, 2023 – NBC Sports’ live coverage of 2023 Roland-Garros matches continues this weekend with rounds three and four from Paris, France, on NBC and Peacock.

Coverage this weekend begins this Saturday, June 3, and Sunday, June 4, live at Noon ET on NBC and Peacock. Peacock will present exclusive Paris night sessions live Saturday and Sunday at 3 p.m. ET each day.

Headlining the men’s draw is World No. 3 Novak Djokovic, who defeated Márton Fucsovics in the second round. Djokovic is tied with reigning Roland-Garros champion Rafael Nadal for the most men’s Grand Slam titles of all-time with 22 and, with a win at Roland-Garros, would surpass Nadal for the most career men’s Grand Slam singles titles. Nadal withdrew from this year’s competition due to injury. Djokovic has two career Roland-Garros titles (2021 and 2016).

Joining Djokovic in the third round of the men’s field are World No. 1 Carlos Alcaraz, the 20-year-old Spaniard who won the 2022 U.S. Open, World No. 4 Casper Ruud, the 2022 Roland-Garros runner-up, and World No. 5 Stefanos Tsitsipas, who is in search of his first career Grand Slam title.

STAMFORD, Conn. – June 1, 2022 – NBC Sports’ live coverage of 2022 Roland-Garros matches continues with the final rounds this weekend from Paris, France, beginning with the women’s semifinals tomorrow, June 2 at 11 a.m. ET on Peacock and NBC.

The Grand Slam culminates with the women’s final live on Saturday, June 4 at 9 a.m. ET and the men’s final live on Sunday, June 5 at 9 a.m. ET on Peacock and NBC.

Live coverage continues tomorrow with the women’s semifinal round as 18-year-old American Coco Gauff, who defeated Sloane Stephens in the quarterfinals, faces Martina Trevisan of Italy. Gauff and Trevisan are both making their first appearance in a Grand Slam singles semifinal.

World No. 1 Iga Świątek of Poland, who extended her winning streak to 33 consecutive matches by beating American Jessica Pegula in the quarterfinals, faces Daria Kasatkina in the other women’s semifinal match tomorrow.

On Friday, the men’s semifinal round will be presented live at 11 a.m. ET. The semifinals are headlined by 21-time Grand Slam singles champion and World No. 5 Rafael Nadal, the “King of Clay,” who defeated World No. 1 Novak Djokovic in the quarterfinals and looks to extend his record by capturing his 14th career Roland-Garros title. Joining Nadal in the semifinal round are World No. 3 Alexander Zverev, who topped World No. 6 Carlos Alcaraz in the quarterfinals, 2014 U.S. Open champion Marin Čilić, and Casper Ruud of Norway.

MARIA TAYLOR TO HOST ROLAND-GARROS SEMIFINALS AND FINALS LIVE FROM PARIS THIS THURSDAY THROUGH SUNDAY ON NBC AND PEACOCK

STAMFORD, Conn. – May 31, 2022 – Maria Taylor will host the Roland-Garros women’s and men’s semifinals and finals this Thursday, June 2 through Sunday, June 5 on NBC and Peacock.

Taylor will be on-site in Paris, anchoring coverage around the matches, and will interview the women’s and men’s champions on Court Philippe-Chatrier on Saturday and Sunday.

Earlier this month, she was named host of Football Night in America, the most-watched studio show in sports.

In the last 12 months, Taylor – who was named one of 2021’s “Most Powerful Women in Sports” by Adweek – has hosted many of the most-watched events and programs in sports. Following her move to NBC Sports in July 2021, she hosted the Tokyo Olympics, Super Bowl LVI Pregame Show, and Beijing Olympics and Paralympics. Just prior to joining NBC Sports, she also hosted the primetime network broadcasts of the NFL Draft and the NBA Finals.

In addition to her hosting roles, Taylor is executive producing and currently in production on an eight-part documentary series on the history of the Black quarterback in the NFL that will stream on Peacock.

Headlining the men’s competition is 21-time Grand Slam singles champion and World No. 5 Rafael Nadal, the “King of Clay,” who has won a record 13 Roland-Garros titles (2005-2008, 2010-2014, 2017-2020), including four of the past five. With his 2022 Australian Open title, Nadal set the all-time record with 21 career men’s singles Grand Slam titles. Nadal will be joined by 20-time Grand Slam singles champion and World No. 1 Novak Djokovic, who looks to defend his 2021 Roland-Garros title, and World No. 2 and reigning U.S. Open champion Daniil Medvedev. The Grand Slam culminates with the women’s final live on Saturday, June 12, at 9 a.m. ET and the men’s final live on Sunday, June 13, at 9 a.m. ET on NBC. Peacock will present exclusive live coverage of the men’s doubles final live at Noon ET on Saturday.

Coverage continues on NBC tomorrow, Thursday, June 10, at 11 a.m. (all time zones, live ET) with the women’s semifinal round as 31st-seed Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova faces unseeded Tamara Zidanšek and 17th-seed Maria Sakkari takes on unseeded Barbora Krejčíková. Sakkari topped defending champion Iga Świątek in the quarterfinal, while Krejčíková bested American Coco Gauff to reach the semifinals.

On Friday, the men’s semifinal round will be carried live at 11 a.m. ET on NBC, headlined by the 17th Grand Slam meeting between Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic. Nadal has won a record 13 Roland-Garros titles (2005-2008, 2010-2014, 2017-2020), including the past four, and Novak Djokovic, who lost to Nadal in the Final at Roland-Garros last year, won the first Grand Slam of 2021 at the Australian Open in February. Sixth-seed Alexander Zverev, the 2020 U.S. Open runner-up, faces fifth-seed Stefanos Tsitsipas, who looks to advance to his first career Grand Slam final.

Coverage begins with the third round this Saturday, June 5 at Noon ET on NBC and continues exclusively on Peacock beginning at 2 p.m. ET. On Sunday, June 6, NBC presents a fourth-round match at Noon ET, followed by exclusive coverage on Peacock beginning at 2 p.m. ET. This Monday, June 7, Peacock presents an exclusive fourth-round match at 3 p.m. ET.

The men’s draw is highlighted by Nadal, who has won a record 13 Roland-Garros titles (2005-2008, 2010-2014, 2017-2020), including the past four, Djokovic, who lost to Nadal in the Final at Roland-Garros last year and won the first Grand Slam of 2021 at the Australian Open in February, and Federer, who seeks his second career Roland-Garros title (2009) after missing last year’s tournament due to injury.
