STAMFORD, CONN. – October 6, 2015 – This week’s episode of NFL Turning Point, airing Thursday at 1:30 a.m. ET / Wednesday at 10:30 p.m. PT on NBCSN, breaks down the dramatic conclusion of QB Drew Brees and the New Orleans Saints overtime victory against the Dallas Cowboys; a season-to-date analysis of QB Andy Dalton and the Cincinnati Bengals pursuit to stay undefeated; and in-game audio from the San Diego Chargers’ thrilling last-second win over the Cleveland Browns.

Hosted by Football Night In America’s Dan Patrick, the 30-minute NFL Turning Point, co-produced by NFL Films, airs weekly throughout the entire NFL season, including the playoffs and Super Bowl.

This week’s episode features:

  • Cowboys-Saints: NFL Turning Point reviews Drew Brees’ return after missing a game with a rotator cuff injury, and studies his stamina and arm strength. The segment then examines the dramatic conclusion of Sunday night’s game and highlights Brees’ 400th career touchdown pass, which won the game for the Saints on the second play of overtime.

In addition, Wednesday night’s Sounds of The Game – Powered by BOSE – segment highlights Broncos LB Von Miller, who was mic’d up as the league’s top-ranked defense helped clinch another victory for Denver.

Each week NFL Turning Point is built around select NFL matchups from the previous weekend, and focuses on the crucial “turning point” moments that ultimately defined the outcome of each game. The show also features anatomy-of-a-play type segments and long-form game-of-the-week style narratives that include pre-game and post-game access, sideline sounds, jaw-dropping cinematography and incredible storytelling that is synonymous with NFL Films.

In 2015 NBCSN will air a total of 21 episodes. The season finale, scheduled to air on Wednesday, February 4, 2016, will look back at the “turning point” of Super Bowl 50.
