Iowa (15-11) defeated then-No. 20 Wisconsin, 88-86, in overtime on Saturday as four Hawkeye starters recorded double figures in points, led by freshman forward Owen Freeman’s 20 points and 12 rebounds. Guard Tony Perkins hit the game-winning layup with 1.3 seconds remaining in overtime.

Michigan State (17-9) defeated Michigan, 73-63, on Saturday to win their third consecutive game. Guard Tyson Walker led the Spartans with 19 points in the win.

Noah Eagle (play-by-play) and Robbie Hummel (analyst), a three-time First-Team All-Big Ten honoree at Purdue from 2007-12, will call the action live from the Breslin Center in East Lansing, Mich.

Tonight at 9 p.m. ET, Big Ten Men’s Basketball: Maryland vs. Wisconsin

Maryland (14-12) looks to bounce back from an 85-80 loss to then-No. 14 Illinois on Saturday. Maryland was led by guard Jahmir Young, who recorded 28 points and 9 rebounds in the loss.

Wisconsin (17-9) fell to Iowa, 88-86, in overtime on Saturday as forward Steven Crowl led the Badgers with 22 points.

Jac Collinsworth (play-by-play) and Stephen Bardo (analyst), will call tonight’s game live from the Kohl Center in Madison, Wis.

Thursday, Feb. 22, at 8 p.m. ET, Big Ten Women’s Basketball: No. 4 Iowa vs. No. 14 Indiana

No. 4 Iowa (23-3) defeated Michigan 106-89, on Thursday as guard Caitlin Clark scored 49 points and became the NCAA women’s all-time scoring leader, surpassing Kelsey Plum. Clark’s career-high 49 points also set the Iowa women’s basketball single-game scoring record. Clark now has 3,569 career points and is 98 points behind Pete Maravich’s Division I record of 3,667 career points.

No. 14 Indiana (21-4) lost to Illinois, 86-66, yesterday as forward Mackenzie Holmes led the Hoosiers with 24 points.

Clark, who has 3,520 career points after scoring 31 in Iowa’s most recent game on Sunday, needs eight points this Thursday on Peacock to break Kelsey Plum’s NCAA women’s scoring record of 3,527 points.

Nebraska (16-8) upset then-No. 2 ranked Iowa, 82-79, on Sunday, overcoming a 14-point fourth quarter deficit as guard Jaz Shelley led the team with 23 points.

Maryland (12-8) looks to rebound from a 112-76 loss to Penn State on Sunday. Guard Shyanne Sellers leads the Terrapins with 15.4 points per game this season.

The No. 3 Hawkeyes (13-1) are in first place in the Big Ten as they look to capture back-to-back regular-season conference titles for the first time since 1992-93. Iowa, winners of 12 consecutive games, defeated Rutgers, 103-69, on Friday as Clark recorded a 29 point, 10 rebound, and 10 assist triple-double, the 14th triple-double of her career.

Clark – the 2022-23 National Player of the Year – leads the nation in scoring (31.3 points per game) while averaging 7.6 assists (third-most in the nation) and 7.1 rebounds per game. Clark has 3,218 career points and could break the all-time Division I women’s scoring record (Washington’s Kelsey Plum, 3,527) this season. She also looks to become the first back-to-back National Player of the Year since UConn’s Breanna Stewart (2015-16).

Purdue (9-5) have won three consecutive games, including last Tuesday’s 77-76 victory over Rutgers. Guard Abbey Ellis leads the Boilermakers averaging 14.6 points per game this season.

Calling tomorrow night’s game from Mackay Arena in West Lafayette, Ind., are Zora Stephenson (play-by-play) and Kim Adams (analyst).

Iowa defeated Minnesota, 94-71, on Saturday for their 10th consecutive win behind Clark’s 35 points and 10 assists. Clark has scored at least 35 points in each of her past three games.

Michigan State (11-2) has won four consecutive games, including Saturday’s 98-87 victory over Penn State. Senior guard Moira Joiner leads the Spartans averaging 16.4 points per game this season.

Calling tonight’s game from Carver-Hawkeye Arena in Iowa City, Iowa, are Zora Stephenson (play-by-play) and Meghan McKeown (analyst), who played collegiately at Northwestern (2010-14) and was a three-time Academic All-Big Ten honoree.

Maryland (9-4) topped Coppin State, 75-53, last Thursday behind forward Julian Reese’s 18-point, 10-rebound double-double.

Minnesota (9-3) extended its winning streak to four games after defeating Ball State, 80-63, last Thursday. Guard Dawson Garcia leads the Golden Gophers in scoring (18.2 points per game) and rebounds (7.3 per game) this season.
