STAMFORD, Conn. – Jan. 9, 2024 – Reigning men’s National Player of the Year Zach Edey and the No. 1 Purdue Boilermakers visit Nebraska at 9 p.m. ET tonight, headlining a Big Ten men’s basketball doubleheader live exclusively on Peacock. Ahead of Purdue-Nebraska, Rutgers hosts Indiana at 7 p.m. ET live on Peacock.

The B1G College Countdown pregame show, featuring host Ahmed Fareed and analysts Jordan Cornette and Josh Pastner¸ begins tonight at 6:30 p.m. ET on Peacock.

Tomorrow, Wed., Jan. 10, reigning women’s National Player of the Year Caitlin Clark and the No. 3 Iowa Hawkeyes visit Purdue at 8 p.m. ET live exclusively on Peacock.

Tonight at 7 p.m. ET: Indiana vs. Rutgers

Indiana (11-4) defeated Ohio State, 71-65, on Saturday behind forward Malik Reneau’s 23 points and seven rebounds.

Rutgers (8-6) look to snap a two-game losing streak after falling to Iowa, 86-77, on Saturday. Guard Derek Sampson led the Scarlet Knights with 23 points and eight assists in the loss.

Noah Eagle (play-by-play) and Stephen Bardo (analyst) will call tonight’s game from the Rutgers Athletic Center in Piscataway, N.J.

Tonight at 9 p.m. ET: No. 1 Purdue vs. Nebraska

Purdue (14-1) defeated then-No. 9 Illinois, 83-78, on Friday, marking the Boilermakers’ seventh consecutive win. Trey Kaufman-Renn led Purdue with 23 points in the victory, while Edey tallied his ninth double-double of the season with 10 points and 15 rebounds. Edey is averaging 22.2 points (fourth-most in the nation) and 10.6 rebounds per game this season after earning consensus Player of the Year honors last season.

Nebraska (12-3) enters tonight’s game having won five of its past six games after falling to No. 15 Wisconsin 88-72 on Saturday. Guard Keisei Tominaga, who paced the Cornhuskers with 17 points against the Badgers, leads the team in scoring this season (14.2 points per game).

Jac Collinsworth (play-by-play) and Robbie Hummel (analyst), a three-time First-Team All-Big Ten honoree at Purdue from 2007-12, will call the game live from Pinnacle Bank Arena in Lincoln, Neb.

Wednesday, Jan. 10 at 8 p.m. ET: No. 3 Iowa vs. Purdue

The No. 3 Hawkeyes (13-1) are in first place in the Big Ten as they look to capture back-to-back regular-season conference titles for the first time since 1992-93. Iowa, winners of 12 consecutive games, defeated Rutgers, 103-69, on Friday as Clark recorded a 29 point, 10 rebound, and 10 assist triple-double, the 14th triple-double of her career.

Clark – the 2022-23 National Player of the Year – leads the nation in scoring (31.3 points per game) while averaging 7.6 assists (third-most in the nation) and 7.1 rebounds per game. Clark has 3,218 career points and could break the all-time Division I women’s scoring record (Washington’s Kelsey Plum, 3,527) this season. She also looks to become the first back-to-back National Player of the Year since UConn’s Breanna Stewart (2015-16).

Purdue (9-5) have won three consecutive games, including last Tuesday’s 77-76 victory over Rutgers. Guard Abbey Ellis leads the Boilermakers averaging 14.6 points per game this season.

Calling tomorrow night’s game from Mackay Arena in West Lafayette, Ind., are Zora Stephenson (play-by-play) and Kim Adams (analyst).

Tomorrow’s coverage begins on Peacock with the B1G College Countdown pregame show at 7:30 p.m. ET, featuring host Carolyn Manno alongside analysts Aliyah Boston and Meghan McKeown. Boston, a forward-center on the Indiana Fever and the No. 1 overall pick in the 2023 WNBA Draft out of South Carolina, is in her first season as an analyst and made her broadcasting debut on Nov. 18 in the Citi Shamrock Classic women’s college basketball game between Notre Dame and Illinois.

The No. 4 Hawkeyes (13-1), who will be making their first of a Big Ten-high eight appearances on Peacock this season, are in first place in the Big Ten as they look to capture back-to-back regular-season conference titles for the first time since 1992-93.

Clark – the 2022-23 National Player of the Year – leads the nation in scoring (30.9 points per game) while averaging 7.6 assists and 7.4 rebounds per game. Clark has 3,149 career points and could break the all-time Division I women’s scoring record (Washington’s Kelsey Plum, 3,527) this season. She also looks to become the first back-to-back National Player of the Year since UConn’s Breanna Stewart (2015-16).

Iowa defeated Minnesota, 94-71, on Saturday for their 10th consecutive win behind Clark’s 35 points and 10 assists. Clark has scored at least 35 points in each of her past three games.

Michigan State (11-2) has won four consecutive games, including Saturday’s 98-87 victory over Penn State. Senior guard Moira Joiner leads the Spartans averaging 16.4 points per game this season.

Calling tonight’s game from Carver-Hawkeye Arena in Iowa City, Iowa, are Zora Stephenson (play-by-play) and Meghan McKeown (analyst), who played collegiately at Northwestern (2010-14) and was a three-time Academic All-Big Ten honoree.

Minnesota (9-3) extended its winning streak to four games after defeating Ball State, 80-63, last Thursday. Guard Dawson Garcia leads the Golden Gophers in scoring (18.2 points per game) and rebounds (7.3 per game) this season.

Maine (8-6) fell to Florida International, 82-74, last week as Black Bears forward Peter Filipovity led the team with 16 points in the loss.

Northwestern enters tomorrow’s game with a 9-2 record, having won five of its past six games. Part of the 2023 Indy Classic powered by Sports Tech HQ, Saturday’s Purdue-Arizona showdown takes place at Indianapolis’ Gainbridge Fieldhouse. The 2023 Indy Classic also features a matchup of conference-leading teams as Ball State (8-2) faces Indiana State (9-1) earlier in the day at 1:45 p.m. ET live exclusively on Peacock.

Calling both Arizona-Purdue and Ball State-Indiana State from Gainbridge Fieldhouse are NBC Sports’ Noah Eagle (play-by-play), Robbie Hummel (analyst), a three-time First-Team All-Big Ten honoree at Purdue from 2007-12, and Caroline Pineda (sideline reporter).

4:30 p.m. p.m. ET: No. 1 Arizona vs. No. 3 Purdue

Purdue, the 2022-23 Big Ten champions, defeated Alabama, 92-86, on Saturday behind Edey’s 35 points and guard Braden Smith’s 27 points and eight assists. Edey – last season’s consensus National Player of the Year – leads the Big Ten averaging 24.8 points per game and 10.8 rebounds per game, and ranks second in the conference with 2.6 blocks per game. The 7’4” center, who has scored 35 points in two of his past three games, is looking to become the first back-to-back Wooden Award winner since Virginia’s Ralph Sampson in 1982 and 1983.

Arizona, one of seven remaining undefeated teams in Division I this season, retained the nation’s No. 1 ranking this week after topping No. 23 Wisconsin, 98-73, on Saturday. Guard Caleb Love, a senior transfer from UNC, tied a season-high with 20 points in the win and leads the Wildcats averaging 14.1 points per game this season. Arizona has defeated three Top 25 teams this season, with wins over Duke, Michigan State, and Wisconsin.

Last season, Purdue earned a No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament, while Arizona – winners of the 2022-23 Pac-12 Tournament – was a No. 2 seed.

Purdue, in its Peacock debut this weekend, will make a school-high six regular-season appearances on Peacock this season.

1:45 p.m. ET: Ball State vs. Indiana State

In a matchup of conference-leading teams, the 2023 Indy Classic begins this Saturday with Ball State taking on Indiana State at 1:45 p.m. ET live on Peacock.

Leading the MAC, Ball State has won three straight games including an 83-71 victory over SIU Edwardsville on Sunday. Forward Basheer Jihad tallied a double-double in the win (27 points, 10 rebounds) and leads the Cardinals with 19.3 points per game this season.

Indiana State enters Saturday on an eight-game winning streak, most recently defeating Southern Indiana, 98-54, last weekend as six players scored in double figures.

Tonight’s doubleheader tips off Peacock’s Big Ten conference play schedule.

7 p.m. ET: Wisconsin vs. Michigan State

Wisconsin (6-2) has won five consecutive games, including a 75-64 victory over AP-ranked No. 3 Marquette on Saturday. Junior guard Max Klesmit led the Badgers with 21 points in the win.

Michigan State (4-3) defeated Georgia State, 85-55, in their most recent game on Nov. 28. Senior guard Tyson Walker leads the Spartans averaging 20.5 points per game, ranking third in the Big Ten this season.

Tonight’s game marks the first Big Ten matchup of the season for both Wisconsin and Michigan State.

Calling Wisconsin-Michigan State from the Breslin Center in East Lansing, Mich., are NBC Sports’ Noah Eagle (play-by-play) and Robbie Hummel (analyst), a three-time First-Team All-Big Ten honoree at Purdue from 2007-12.

9 p.m. ET: Indiana vs. Michigan

Indiana (6-1) has won three consecutive games after defeating Maryland, 65-53, on Friday, Dec. 1, as sophomore center Kel’el Ware paced the Hoosiers with a double-double (18 points and 14 rebounds).

Michigan (4-4) looks to rebound from an 86-83 overtime loss at Oregon on Saturday as the Ducks hit a game-winning three pointer with 1.4 seconds remaining in OT. Wolverines sophomore guard Dug McDaniel scored a game-high 33 points in the loss.

STAMFORD, Conn. – Nov. 22, 2023 – Quarterback Drew Allar and the College Football Playoff-ranked No. 11 Penn State Nittany Lions (9-2) visit the Michigan State Spartans from Ford Field in Detroit, Mich., in a special Black Friday primetime matchup this Friday, Nov. 24 at 7:30 p.m. ET on NBC and Peacock.

Penn State defeated Rutgers, 27-6, on Saturday behind running back Kaytron Allen’s two rushing scores. The Nittany Lions rank fourth in the nation in scoring defense, allowing 12.5 points per game, while the offense ranks second in the Big Ten in scoring offense (36.7 points per game).

Michigan State topped Indiana, 24-21, last weekend as quarterback Katin Houser threw a game-winning 36-yard touchdown pass to tight end Maliq Carr with 1:19 remaining in the game. Houser passed for a career-best 245 yards and three touchdowns in the win.

Penn State-Michigan State will be called by NBC Sports’ B1G Saturday Night team of Noah Eagle (play-by-play), Todd Blackledge (analyst), and Kathryn Tappen (sidelines). Former Big Ten referee Reggie Smith serves as the rules analyst.

STAMFORD, Conn. – Nov. 16, 2023 – The Notre Dame women’s basketball team faces Illinois in the second annual Citi Shamrock Classic this Saturday, Nov. 18, at 1 p.m. ET on NBC and Peacock, headlining the college basketball slate across NBC Sports this weekend.

The No. 16 Fighting Irish are 2-1 this season after defeating Northwestern, 110-52, yesterday as guards Hannah Hidalgo and Sonia Citron each scored 20+ points for a second consecutive game. Notre Dame finished 27-6 last season and earned a No. 3 seed in the NCAA Women’s Tournament, reaching the Sweet 16 before falling to No.2-seed Maryland.

Illinois, who reached the Big Ten Tournament Finals and earned a No. 11-seed in the NCAA Women’s Tournament last season, are 2-1 this season after defeating St. Peter’s 103-33 on Wednesday.

Zora Stephenson (play-by-play), LaChina Robinson (analyst) and Isis Young (sideline reporter) will call the game live from the Entertainment and Sports Arena in Washington, D.C. Stephenson, who called the inaugural Citi Shamrock Classic last season on NBC and Peacock, will also call Big Ten Women’s Basketball games exclusively on Peacock in 2023-24. STAMFORD, Conn. – Nov. 15, 2023 – Quarterback Sam Hartman and the College Football Playoff-ranked No. 19 Notre Dame Fighting Irish (7-3) host the Wake Forest Demon Deacons in their regular-season home finale this Saturday, Nov. 18 at 3:30 p.m. ET. Saturday’s coverage begins at 3 p.m. ET with College Countdown on NBC and Peacock.

On this weekend’s B1G Saturday Night, the Nebraska Cornhuskers visit the Wisconsin Badgers at Camp Randall Stadium in Madison, Wisc., at 7:30 p.m. ET on NBC and Peacock.

Coming off a bye last weekend, the Fighting Irish fell to Clemson, 31-23, in their most recent game on Nov. 4. Running back Audric Estime, who is tied for seventh in the nation with 13 rushing touchdowns, rushed for 87 yards and a score at Clemson.

Wake Forest lost to North Carolina State, 26-6, last week.

Jac Collinsworth (play-by-play), Jason Garrett (analyst), and Lewis Johnson (sidelines) will call Wake Forest-Notre Dame from Notre Dame Stadium in South Bend, Ind. Former Big Ten referee Reggie Smith serves as the rules analyst.

Nebraska, tied for second in the Big Ten West at 5-5, looks to bounce back from a 13-10 loss to Maryland last week. The Cornhuskers’ defense has held opponents to 20 points or less in five consecutive games.

Wisconsin, also 5-5 on the season, lost to Northwestern, 24-10, on Saturday and look to snap a three-game losing streak. Running back Braelon Allen is tied for second in the Big Ten in rushing touchdowns (eight) and is third in rushing yards (757).

Nebraska-Wisconsin will be called from Camp Randall Stadium by NBC Sports’ B1G Saturday Night team of Noah Eagle (play-by-play), Todd Blackledge (analyst), and Kathryn Tappen (sidelines). Terry McAulay serves as the rules analyst.

7 p.m. ET: No. 15 Texas A&M vs. Ohio State

Ohio State, which advanced to the Big Ten tournament semifinals last year after going 13-18 in the regular-season, defeated Oakland, 79-73, in their season-opener on Monday. Senior forward Zed Key led the Buckeyes with 17 points and eight rebounds in the win.

AP-preseason No. 15 Texas A&M, which finished second in the SEC last season and earned a No. 7 seed in the NCAA Tournament, defeated Texas A&M-Commerce, 78-46, on Monday to begin the season 1-0.

Calling Texas A&M-Ohio State from The Schottenstein Center in Columbus, Ohio, are NBC Sports’ Noah Eagle (play-by-play) alongside analyst Robbie Hummel, a three-time First-Team All-Big Ten honoree at Purdue from 2007-12.

In addition to Friday’s Texas A&M-Ohio State basketball game, Eagle will also call this Saturday’s B1G Saturday Night football game as the No. 1 Buckeyes host Michigan State (7:30 p.m. ET on NBC and Peacock).

7:30 p.m. ET: UTSA vs. Minnesota

Minnesota earned a season-opening win with an 80-60 victory over Bethune-Cookman on Monday, led by forward Dawson Garcia’s double-double effort (23 points, 14 rebounds).

UTSA, in the Roadrunners’ first season in the American Athletic Conference, opened their season with a 78-68 overtime victory over Western Illinois this week.

Rich Lerner (play-by-play) will call Friday’s game from Williams Arena in Minneapolis, Minn., alongside analyst John Giannini.

8 p.m. ET: Alabama State vs. Iowa

Iowa, which advanced to its fourth consecutive NCAA Tournament last season as a No. 8 seed, defeated North Dakota, 110-68, on Tuesday to open the season as guard Payton Sandfort scored 21 points and forward Ben Krikke added 18.

Alabama State looks to bounce back from its season-opening defeat to Ole Miss, 69-59, on Monday.

Alabama State-Iowa will be called from Carver–Hawkeye Arena in Iowa City by Steve Burkowski (play-by-play) and Tre Demps (analyst).

9 p.m. ET: No. 9 Tennessee vs. Wisconsin

Wisconsin began its 2023-24 campaign with a 105-76 victory over Arkansas State on Monday as the Badgers look to get back to the NCAA Tournament after advancing to the NIT semifinals last season.

No. 9 Tennessee, which finished 25-11 last season and reached the NCAA Tournament Sweet Sixteen as a No. 4 seed, opened its season with an 80-48 victory over Tennessee Tech this week.

Terry Gannon (play-by-play) and Stephen Bardo (analyst) will call Tennessee-Wisconsin from the Kohl Center in Madison, Wisc., on Friday.

Ohio State topped Rutgers, 35-16, last weekend to remain undefeated as Harrison Jr. caught two touchdown passes and running back TreVoyn Henderson rushed for 128 yards and a score. Quarterback Kyle McCord ranks second in the Big Ten with 1,352 passing yards, while Harrison Jr., the son of Pro Football Hall of Famer and Super Bowl XLI champion Marvin Harrison, leads the conference in receiving yards (914) and is tied for the lead in touchdown catches (10).

Michigan State defeated Nebraska, 20-17, on Saturday to snap a six-game losing streak. Spartans running back Nathan Carter ranks third in the Big Ten with 659 rushing yards.

Ohio State-Michigan State will be called from Ohio Stadium in Columbus, Ohio, by NBC Sports’ B1G Saturday Night team of Noah Eagle (play-by-play), Todd Blackledge (analyst), and Kathryn Tappen (sidelines). Terry McAulay serves as the rules analyst.

2023-24 Big Ten Basketball: Peacock will exclusively present 12 Ohio State men’s and women’s basketball games this season, including the Buckeyes hosting No. 15 Texas A&M this Friday, Nov. 10, at 7 p.m. ET. This weekend, Noah Eagle will serve as the play-by-play voice on both Ohio State’s basketball game on Friday and the Buckeyes’ football game on Saturday.

Michigan State men’s (ranked fourth) and women’s basketball will appear in eight games on Peacock this season.

Maryland looks to rebound from a 51-15 loss to No. 10 Penn State last weekend. QB Taulia Tagovailoa, who leads the Big Ten with 2,486 passing yards and 21 touchdown passes this season, threw for 286 yards and two scores in the loss.

Nebraska, winners of three in a row entering last weekend, fell to Michigan State, 20-17, on Saturday.
