Three-Hour “NFL GameDay Morning” Premieres

This Sunday, NFL Network analyst Steve Mariucci joins the cast of NFL GameDay Morning as the show expands to three hours with a 9:00 AM ET kickoff on December 14. NFL GameDay Morning is the first pregame show on air each Sunday morning and is now the longest, most comprehensive NFL pregame show on TV.
Mariucci joins an NFL GameDay Morning cast featuring analysts Marshall Faulk and Warren Sapp, host Spero Dedes and top correspondent Adam Schefter. Alex Flanagan will co-host the first hour with Dedes.
“NFL fans will now enjoy Steve’s coaching expertise, game analysis and humor from dawn to dusk on NFL Network,” said NFL Network executive producer Eric Weinberger. “Expanding our pregame show to three hours allows us to present more in-depth coverage of the latest in the NFL.”
Mariucci’s NFL Network Sundays will now span 16 hours — beginning on the pregame show at 9:00 AM ET and culminating at 1:00 AM ET (Monday) when he, Rich Eisen and Deion Sanders sign off on NFL GameDay Final, the NFL’s only 90-minute highlight show.
“Whatever time it is on Sunday, we know it’s time for football on NFL Network,” said Mariucci, in his third season with NFL Network after a 28-year coaching career.
NFL GameDay Morning has been a winner with fans. Through the first 13 weeks of the NFL season, the show’s ratings are up 83 percent compared to last season’s programming in the time slot.
NFL GameDay Morning goes straight to the stadiums for the latest news, reports and breaking stories from radio play-by-play announcers and analysts from all NFL teams.

Portions of NFL GameDay Morning, including the segment where the inactive lists are unveiled, will also be available on NFL.com, the exclusive Internet home of the NFL Network.
