STAMFORD, Conn. – April 9, 2020 – Rotoworld, the internet’s highest-trafficked fantasy sports information site, will present an unprecedented 12-hour “Twitch-a-Thon” tomorrow, Friday, April 10, beginning at 11 a.m. ET to benefit coronavirus relief efforts.
100% of donations stemming from the 12-hour stream will go directly towards efforts to support those responding to the coronavirus pandemic, including supplying personal protective equipment and providing meals for frontline workers.
The “Twitch-a-Thon,” which will be hosted by Rotoworld fantasy football analyst John Daigle, will feature Rotoworld writers and special guests discussing the fantasy sports world and providing in-depth analysis on a range of sports.
“This event was created as a means to help everyone,” said Daigle. “We bring the entertainment to you, and in doing so, ask for anything to help those in need of PPE supplies and meals in return. Literally every dollar counts and anything we raise as a community throughout this stream goes directly to local workers fighting on the frontlines each and every day, guaranteeing support overnight. It’s the least we can do to help.”
In addition, viewers will be treated to helpful indoor social distancing tips, including at-home workout advice, a live afternoon workout session, quick and easy cooking ideas, and a demonstration to highlight the easiest ways to prep dinner.
Rotoworld writers Josh Norris, Patrick “RotoPat” Daugherty, Ian Hartitz, Hayden Winks, and Nick Mensio will join Daigle live throughout the day to offer analysis and commentary on a number of topics.
Featured guests also include:
- NBC Sports NFL analyst Chris Simms
- ESPN Senior Fantasy Football Analyst Matthew Berry
- ESPN NFL Insider Field Yates
- NFL Network’s Gregg Rosenthal
- Establish the Run’s Evan Silva
Live coverage begins this Friday at 11 a.m. ET on Rotoworld’s Twitch channel.
Any questions or comments for guests can be passed along during the “Twitch-a-Thon” through the Twitch chat function and Rotoworld Football’s Twitter account, @Rotoworld_FB.
