103rd “Greatest Spectacle in Racing” Airs This Sunday, May 26, on NBC
STAMFORD, Conn. – May 23, 2019 – Six of NBC Sports’ Indianapolis 500 commentators will preview the “The Greatest Spectacle in Racing” at a press event today, Thursday, May 23, at 11 a.m. ET. The one-hour event will take place in the North Chalet of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Plaza, near Pagoda Plaza.
Participants include NBC Sports’ INDYCAR broadcast team of Leigh Diffey, Townsend Bell, and Paul Tracy as well as Indy 500 host Mike Tirico, in his first INDYCAR assignment; analyst and former INDYCAR driver Danica Patrick; and NBC Sports motorsports analyst Dale Earnhardt Jr., who will attend his first-ever Indy 500.

Following the press event at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, members of NBC Sports’ Indianapolis 500 broadcast team will preview the 103rd Indianapolis 500 on a national media conference call today, Thursday, May 23, at 12:30 p.m. ET.
Participants include NBC Sports’ INDYCAR broadcast team of Leigh Diffey (play-by-play) and analysts Townsend Bell and Paul Tracy, who have combined to make 19 career Indy 500 starts; as well as Indy 500 host Mike Tirico, in his first INDYCAR assignment; analyst and former INDYCAR driver Danica Patrick; NBC Sports motorsports analyst Dale Earnhardt Jr., who will attend his first-ever Indy 500; and NBC Sports’ Executive Producer and President of Production, Sam Flood.
