NFL FILMS PRESENTS: FOOTBALL FAMILIES – SATURDAY AT 9:00 AM ET
This week’s episode features Bengals defensive coordinator Mike Zimmer, whose wife of 27 years died unexpectedly in October. Zimmer has spent the season giving everything he had to both his family – daughters Marki and Corri and son Adam, an assistant coach in New Orleans – and to his team, which won the 2009 AFC North title. Also, some might consider it a burden to have the same name as your father when he is Hall of Famer RB Barry Sanders. However, this high school sophomore finds it to be a blessing.
NFL Films Presents, hosted by Steve Sabol, explores the depth of the NFL Films archive – the world’s largest sports film library – with unique perspectives on football’s greatest heroes and personalities as well as its history, humanity and humor.
