Ernie Johnson, Chris Webber and Greg Anthony
Anthony on Atlanta’s Jeff Teague: “Jeff Teague has been the best point guard in the Eastern Conference thus far this season…[he’s] been the best. He is a defensive nightmare and the best point guard in the pick-and-roll in the Eastern Conference thus far. He has been under control, and he’s set the tone for the Hawks.”
Anthony on the Hawks’ Paul Millsap and Al Horford: “[They are] two guys who are in essence undersized for their position but they’re oversized in terms of their IQ and their competitive nature.”
Anthony on Atlanta’s Kyle Korver approaching the record for most consecutive games with a three pointer: “I think it’s huge, honestly. First of all, Dana Barros was a hell of a shooter, and a great player…obviously, Kyle [Korver] does it in different ways. In some respects it can be a little more difficult because he really is, let’s face it, he’s one dimensional. He’s a guy that’s looking to catch and shoot, whether in transition or from pin downs or off a penetration…he has just been lights out [in terms of] consistency. And, more importantly, he’s done it on good teams.”
Webber on how concerned he is about Miami’s Dwyane Wade: “Very…when you have to take off a back-to-back for maintenance, that means there’s a problem if you play two games in a row. I’m glad he’s doing it because its self-preservation; he’s making sure he’s ok. But, at the same time, it lets me know there’s a bigger problem.”
Webber on what scares him about the Miami Heat: “The only thing that scares me about them is what they’ve been the last two years. And that’s the best teams, the most athletic…but no one can rebound.”
Anthony on Paul Pierce against LeBron James one-on-one: “[Paul Pierce] is probably as versatile a scorer as the game has seen in a long time. He can score in a multitude of ways. I think it would actually come down to defense, because [Pierce] is going to have some success, but LeBron would have an easier time getting stops against him than he’s going to have getting stops against LeBron…that’s why I would say LeBron’s got the nod.”

Sprint Halftime Report
Johnson, Webber and Anthony
Webber on LeBron James: “One of the best keys about LeBron’s game is his off-the-ball awareness. He cuts to the basket, unlike a lot of superstars, being involved, seeing when his guy’s in trouble, bailing them out as they’re driving to the hole.”
Anthony on Atlanta’s Horford: “Al Horford, to me, I consider him the ultimate complementary player. I mean that as a compliment. He’s not a guy you typically run your offense through, but he just finds a way to put the ball in the basket.”

Interview with Miami Heat’s Chris Bosh
Bosh on how the Miami Heat reacted to the Dwyane Wade news: “Nothing really happens out of the ordinary. Coach pretty much tells us the news, tells us the starting lineups and it’s business as usual. We really don’t have to change anything. We know each other’s games. We’ve been together long enough to know that things go on without Dwyane and we can’t wait to have him back.”
Anthony on the struggles of the New York Knicks: “They’ve just basically got one of those Murphy Law-type things going, where anything that can go wrong is going wrong right now. They’re not doing anything well on the court.”
Webber on the Knicks’ misfortune so far this season: “I think it’s a mixture of a perfect storm. Injuries with guys, the wrong roster; you have Carmelo [Anthony] playing the four. I mean, I think it needs to start right there. Carmelo’s playing the four on this team, now teams can sit back, double team you, zone you. I don’t think they have a roster to be successful. I don’t think they have the makeup to be successful.”
