NFL.com Wins Two Awards in Outstanding New Approaches – Sports Programming Short Format Category
NFL Films-Produced ‘Hard Knocks – Training Camp with the Cincinnati Bengals’ Earns Three Emmy Awards
NFL Media – comprised of NFL Network, NFL Films, NFL RedZone, NFL.com, NFL Mobile and NFL Now – won a record seven Sports Emmy Awards, it was announced last night in New York City. The seven Sports Emmy Awards eclipses the previous record of six from 2013.
NFL Network won in the Outstanding Sports Promotional Announcement – Institutional category for NFL Draft – Leon Sandcastle, as well as the Dick Schaap Outstanding Writing Award for NFL Films Presents – Yours Truly, Dr. Z. With the two Emmy Awards, NFL Network increased its total to 14 in its 10-year history.
NFL.com earned two Emmy Awards in the category of Outstanding New Approaches – Sports Programming Short Format for JFK: The Untold NFL History of That Day in Dallas and NFL UP!
NFL Films – the most-honored filmmaker in sports – won five Emmy Awards, which increased its total to 117 Emmy Awards. Hard Knocks – Training Camp with the Cincinnati Bengals, produced along with HBO,earned three Emmy Awards in the categories of Outstanding Editing, Outstanding Music Composition/Direction/Lyrics, and Outstanding Post Produced Audio/Sound.
