USSA SKIING
NBC Sports Group will present more than 30 hours of men’s and women’s FIS World Cup skiing coverage this weekend, including women’s alpine skiing from Lake Louise in Alberta, Canada.
This weekend’s coverage begins today at 12:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN with live coverage of the downhill, followed by NBCSN’s coverage of the super-G on Saturday, Dec. 5, at 1 p.m. ET. NBC will air live coverage of the giant slalom Sunday, Dec. 6, at 5 p.m. ET.
Live Extra’s coverage of the women’s event at Lake Louise begins Friday at 1:30 p.m. ET with the downhill, continues Saturday at 2:30 p.m. ET, and concludes on Sunday at 1 p.m. ET with the super-G. Universal HD will air same-day delayed coverage of all three events each day at 8:30 p.m. ET.
Lead play-by-play commentator Dan Hicks will call the Audi Birds of Prey from Beaver Creek, alongside Bode Miller, Steve Porino and Todd Brooker.
NASCAR
Following 21 consecutive weeks of live NASCAR race coverage, NBC Sports Group puts a bow on its 2015 season with the NASCAR Sprint Cup Awards ceremony this Friday, Dec. 4, at 9 p.m. ET on NBCSN from Las Vegas, Nevada. NBCSN joins NASCAR in celebrating the remarkable season that was, featuring special tributes to this year’s Champion, Kyle Busch, and retiring legend, Jeff Gordon.
Friday evening’s NASCAR coverage begins with two special editions of Scan All 43, starting at 6 p.m. ET on NBCSN. At 7 p.m. NBCSN’s pre-award coverage begins with a special edition of NASCAR America hosted by Dave Briggs alongside analysts Kyle Petty in studio and Dale Jarrett from Burton’s Garage. Krista Voda, Kelli Stavast, Rick Allen and Rutledge Wood report on-site from the Sprint Cup Series Awards in Las Vegas, NV.
Red carpet coverage from the Wynn Las Vegas begins at 8 p.m. ET on NBCSN. Wood and Stavast deliver interviews with drivers, their guests and celebrities as they enter the celebration. The official award ceremony, hosted by Drew Carey, begins at 9 p.m. ET on NBCSN.
PREMIER LEAGUE
NBC Sports Group begins its last month of Premier League action in 2015 with a full slate of action this weekend on the networks of NBCUniversal.
Coverage begins this Saturday, Dec. 5, on NBCSN at 6 a.m. ET with Barclay’s Premier League Preview, followed by Premier League Live at 7 a.m. ET, and Stoke City v. Manchester City at 7:45 a.m. ET. Coverage continues at 10 a.m. ET with Manchester United v. West Ham on NBCSN, and Arsenal v. Sunderland on USA Network. Saturday’s coverage concludes with Chelsea v. Bournemouth at 12:30 p.m. ET on NBC.
