STAMFORD, Conn. – September 14, 2015 – After Saturday’s Sprint Cup showdown at Richmond International Raceway, 16 drivers are set to compete in NASCAR’s Sprint Cup Series Championship. Eleven of the drivers qualified by winning races and five fought their way in based off the season long points standings. The 16 drivers are now set to compete in a 10-race playoff leading up to NBC’s presentation of the Championship race from Homestead-Miami Speedway on November 22.
