This Week’s Schedule Also Includes a Pair of Celtics games (vs. Warriors and Grizzlies) and Hornets vs. Bobcats
NBA TV’s NBA Fan Night presented by Sprint telecast will feature the Los Angeles Clippers and Chris Paul visiting the Denver Nuggets and Ty Lawson on Tuesday, Jan. 1, at 9 p.m. ET. The Clippers are one of the hottest teams in the league heading into the weekend with 15 wins in a row. The NBA Fan Night game selection was based on fan voting via NBA.com, the NBA Facebook page, NBA TV’s Facebook page, Yahoo.com, NBA.com mobile web, mobile GameTime App and Twitter.
Fan Night host Ernie Johnson and analysts Greg Anthony and Steve Smith will offer analysis during the AutoTrader.com Pregame Show at 8:30 p.m. Johnson, Anthony and Smith will also provide updates at times during the game telecast, along with halftime and GameTime presented by Hyundai post-game coverage.
Fan voting for the next NBA Fan Night telecast (Tuesday, Jan. 8) will be conducted from Tuesday, Jan. 1, at 8 a.m. through Thursday, Jan. 3, at midnight. Potential telecasts:
- Brooklyn Nets @ Philadelphia 76ers
- Miami Heat @ Indiana Pacers
- Phoenix Suns @ Milwaukee Bucks
- Los Angeles Lakers @ Houston Rockets
- Atlanta Hawks @ Minnesota Timberwolves
Additional games on NBA TV this week include a doubleheader on Saturday, Dec. 29, featuring the Charlotte Bobcats hosting the New Orleans Hornets at 7 p.m. followed by the Boston Celtics visiting the Golden State Warriors at 10:30 p.m. The Memphis Grizzlies will visit the Celtics on Wednesday, Jan. 2, at 7:30 p.m. on NBA TV.
NBA D-League Game of the Week
NBA TV’s NBA D-League Game of the Week will continue Sunday, Dec. 30, at 3 p.m. featuring the Texas Legends and Austin Toros (game held Tuesday, Dec 18). The network will televise over 30 NBA D-League games as well as the NBA D-League Showcase, the NBA D-League All-Star Game in Houston and postseason games.
The Jump presented by Sprint – Tuesdays on NBA.com and NBA TV
The Jump presented by Sprint – hosted by Jared Greenberg with analysts Dennis Scott and Brent Barry and SLAM’s Lang Whitaker serving as a regular contributor – will stream live Tuesday on NBA.com at 4 p.m. and airs on NBA TV Tuesdays at 7 p.m. The show previews upcoming NBA games, provides analysis on storylines throughout the league and answers questions directly from NBA fans through submissions via NBA.com, the NBA Facebook page and Twitter.
