NBA Action Continues on TNT with an Exclusive Doubleheader Featuring Magic @ Heat and Suns @ Trail Blazers

Utah Jazz Guard Deron Williams will Make TNT Studio Appearance
TNT NBA Thursday continues on Dec. 17 with an exclusive doubleheader. The night’s action gets underway at 8 p.m. (ET) with NBA Tip-Off presented by AutoTrader.com with Ernie Johnson (host), Charles Barkley (analyst) and Kenny Smith (analyst). They will be joined by HLN anchor Robin Meade who will discuss her upcoming special With All Due Respect featuring Barkley, TBS MLB analyst Dennis Eckersley and TNT NASCAR analyst Kyle Petty. The one-hour show will air on Sunday, Dec. 20 at 10 p.m. (ET). In addition, Utah Jazz point guard Deron Williams will also visit the TNT studio to talk about Utah’s season thus far.
Following the pre-game show, the first game of the night will feature a Southeastern Division match-up with Dwyane Wade and the Miami Heat hosting Dwight Howard and the Orlando Magic. TNT and NBA TV studio analyst Kevin McHale will call his first live TNT game, joining his former Timberwolves broadcast partner, play-by-play announcer Kevin Harlan. In addition, analyst Doug Collins and sideline reporter Cheryl Miller will be on-hand. In the second game of TNT’s doubleheader, Brandon Roy and the Portland Trail Blazers will host Steve Nash and the Phoenix Suns. Marv Albert (play-by-play) and Reggie Miller (analyst) will be courtside with Craig Sager reporting. The Emmy® award-winning studio show Inside the NBA presented by Hyundai with Johnson (host), Barkley (analyst) and Smith (analyst) will recap the games.
This week, TNT will announce the nominees for its fifth category of ‘TNT All-Decade NBA: Individual Drama – Playoffs.’ Fans can visit NBA.com’s ‘TNT All-Decade NBA’ page (http://www.nba.com/alldecade/vote3/) to view clips of the previously announced nominees and cast a vote on who they think should win. The ‘TNT All-Decade NBA’ includes the top performances, games and moments throughout the 2000’s and winners will be announced in a special one-hour TNT All-Decade NBA show airing during TNT’s exclusive coverage of NBA All-Star Saturday Night on Feb. 13 at 5 p.m. (ET).
