Fans have voted Michigan State’s thrilling, come-from-behind, 42-41 victory over Baylor in the Cotton Bowl Classic as the No. 1 college football game of 2014 and, as a result, it will conclude The Top 25 College Football Games of 2014 on Sunday, Aug. 2 at 10 p.m. on ESPNU. The remaining top 5 games, which will all air between Friday, July 31 and Aug. 2 on ESPNU, are as follows:
- 2: College Football Playoff Semifinal/Sugar Bowl: Ohio State’s 42-35 victory over Alabama
- 3: Baylor’s 61-58 victory over TCU
- 4: Auburn’s 35-31 over Ole Miss
- 5: Florida State’s 31-24 victory over Notre Dame.
The Top 5 games will bring to an end the two-week Top 25 College Football Games of 2014 series which began on Monday, July 20. The remaining programming schedule is as follows:
