Thursday’s on NHL.com and Sirius XM Radio Starting at 6:00 PM ET
NEW YORK (January 7, 2010) – Brian Burke, President and General Manager of the Toronto Maple Leafs and General Manager of the U.S. Olympic Men’s Hockey team, will be the guest on today’s edition of NHL Hour With Commissioner Gary Bettman on NHL.com and SIRIUS XM Radio at its new, 6 p.m. ET broadcast time.
Burke will join Commissioner Bettman to review the hockey questions of the day, including the process of selecting the Olympic team, the recently-concluded World Junior tournament, the 2010 Bridgestone NHL Winter Classic, the approaching GM meetings and, of course, the Maple Leafs.
On January 1, USA Hockey’s management team, headed by Burke, announced Team USA’s roster for the upcoming 2010 Winter Olympic Games held in Vancouver. Team USA will open the tournament against Switzerland on February 16, the first day of the hockey competition.
