ESPN will showcase the music of Atlantic recording artists for the third consecutive year throughout its extensive men’s and women’s college basketball coverage this season, spanning over 3,000 total games across ESPN networks. This marquee collaboration follows ESPN’s long-time music relationship with the storied record label and features 14 different artists from its dynamic roster. It includes multi-platinum superstar Flo Rida, whose hit single “GDFR” was used throughout ESPN’s coverage of the 2014-15 NBA season, Grammy-award winner Skrillex, who performed at last year’s Winter X-Games, and chart-topping duo Twenty One Pilots, who are set to perform at the upcoming Winter X-Games in Aspen on January 29, 2016.
“ESPN’s collaboration with Atlantic Records continues to enhance our men’s and women’s college basketball coverage with the talented artists and their music,” said Kevin Wilson, ESPN music director.
Kevin Weaver, Atlantic President of Film and Television, said, “ESPN’s extensive coverage of men’s and women’s college basketball provides an incredible platform to showcase the music of Atlantic Records and our artists. We’re very happy to continue our long-standing relationship with the network.”
