Collinsworth Predicted Rams’ Trade Up to #1 in His March 15 PFF Mock Draft
Pro Football Focus Analyzes “Every Play, Every Player, Every Game”
STAMFORD, Conn. – April 25, 2016 – Cris Collinsworth, NBC’s Sunday Night Football analyst and majority owner of Pro Football Focus (PFF), will hold a conference call today, Monday, April 25 at 2 p.m. ET to discuss this week’s NFL Draft (April 28-30).
Dial 888-468-2440 to participate; conference ID 9215439
In his first-ever mock draft for Pro Football Focus on March 15, Collinsworth predicted that the Los Angeles Rams would trade up with the Tennessee Titans for the #1 pick in the 2016 NFL Draft. Nearly one month later, on April 14, the Rams acquired the #1 pick from the Titans. The full mock-draft can be found here.

“Every Play. Every Player. Every Game.”
To prepare for the 2016 NFL Draft, Pro Football Focus watched every play of every draft-eligible player from the 2015 college season and assigned a grade for every play, every game and for the full season. In addition, PFF graded every player and position group from all 32 NFL teams, and has determined each team’s areas of strength, weakness and need. PFF is the only company offering such detailed analysis.
Since 2007, Pro Football Focus has analyzed the performance of every player on each snap, grading their performances against others at the same position, in categories including pass blocking efficiency, run stop percentage, and “elusive rating” (for running backs).
Collinsworth, a 16-time Sports Emmy Award winner, uses PFF’s data as part of his weekly SNF game preparation. More than half of NFL clubs work directly with Pro Football Focus to use its play-by-play and player grading analytics.
