ESPN will offer comprehensive coverage of the ACC Men’s and Women’s Lacrosse Championship starting Tuesday, April 21, and continuing through Sunday, April 26.
The ACC Men’s Championship will be televised on ESPNU with both semifinals Friday, April 24 (5:30 p.m. and 8 p.m.) and the Championship game Sunday, April 26 (1 p.m.). All four teams are nationally ranked; the semis pit No. 6 Duke vs. No. 1 Notre Dame, followed by No. 4 Syracuse vs. No. 2 North Carolina. ESPN’s lead lacrosse commentators — Eamon McAnaney, Quint Kessenich, Paul Carcaterra – will call all three matchups.
ESPN3 will also carry the annual Penn Classic, No. 9 Virginia vs. Penn on Saturday, April 25, at 7:30 p.m.
The Women’s Championship – carried on ESPN3 – is highlighted by seven nationally ranked teams, including No. 2 North Carolina, No. 3 Boston College, No. 4 Duke, No. 6 Virginia, and No. 7 Syracuse. The quarterfinals begin on Tuesday, April 21(11 a.m., 1 p.m., 4 p.m., and 6 p.m.) with the semifinals on Friday, April 24 (1 p.m. and 3 p.m.) and the Championship game on Sunday, April 26 (1 p.m.).
