Sirius XM was supposed to be simulcasting TVG so that horseplayers could get live coverage, race calls, etc., but it is very random, only 11am to 2pm in the east, which is useless as they cut out for the better part of the afternoon. The Byk and Johnson/Finley shows are great, but TVG needs a dedicated channel on XM. With all of the empty play by play channels, hopefully they can get it done.

    • Did they even have the Derby on Sirius/XM. I set my xmp3 recorder for this to listen to it later on ESPN Radio XM140 and got nothing by sportscenter news. Were they asleep at the switch? Also, interesting about TVG. If they only have it on at random times, what is the point? Horse racing always finds a way to mess up a good thing.

TVG on Sirius is a total fraud. They put it on whenever they feel like it and then interrupt it for everything, including wrestling, boxing, and even World Cup games in Arabic (seriously, if nearly all of the channels are in English, who has SIrius and understands Arabic?). This would be a great concept if they did what they advertise, which seems like it would be incredible simple to do with all the channels they have that do nothing but tell you what is on. If you are planning on getting Sirius to have TVG, stay away. This is a total rip-off. Don’t waste your money!!!

    SIRIUS XM offers
” horse racing fans around the country comprehensive coverage of the Sport of Kings ”

but they just doing it anytime they want., i think they don’t care if they could intterupt.
or why they are been given permission by the others.!?

i think there are a lot of people who really want to witness the said race since this radio station is gonna cover it. sirius xm will surely get a good rating for this especially with the horse racing fanatics.

XM still misses the point. All they need is to give TVG a dedicated channel and they would have 24/7 coverage from one source. No respect here.
