The Robert Wuhl Show Upon its Debut on January 17, 2011. —
New York, NY – January 3, 2011 – Westwood One, Inc. (NASDAQ: WWON) announced today that upon its January 17th debut, The Robert Wuhl Show will be heard on Cumulus Media stations in nine markets nationwide. Hosted by sports fanatic, actor, and comedian Robert Wuhl, the three-hour daily talk show will air live Monday – Friday from 3p-6p ET from the Westwood One studios in Culver City.

Robert Wuhl is well known for his role as sports super-agent Arliss Michaels on the HBO program Arliss. The Robert Wuhl Show is a fresh, new sports talk program offering an entertaining take on sports with a unique comedic twist and celebrity interviews with the biggest stars from the worlds of sports and Hollywood.
About Robert Wuhl
After several years of stand-up comedy in the 1980s, Robert Wuhl expanded his career and evolved into the world of acting, writing and directing, appearing in films such as Bull Durham and Batman. Wuhl won two Primetime Emmy Awards for co-writing the Academy Awards with Billy Crystal in 1990 and 1991. Wuhl is perhaps best known from the HBO series Arliss, which he both wrote and starred in for eight years as the show’s title character, an agent for high profile athletes. One of the more noteworthy aspects of Robert Wuhl’s career is his ongoing association with baseball. He played the duguot-chattering minor league coach in Bull Durham and the beleaguered biographer of contentious ballplayer Ty Cobb in Cobb. Wuhl also starred in two critically acclaimed HBO one-man-shows, Assume the Position with Mr. Wuhl 101 & 201, in which he captivates a college classroom by illustrating the similarities between American history and current pop-culture. Wuhl is currently developing a stage adaptation of Assume the Position at Ars Nova in New York City.
