CBS College 2010 Football Programming

CBS COLLEGE SPORTS NETWORK’S FALL STUDIO SHOWS OFFER ALL THE NEWS, NOTES, HIGHLIGHTS
AND INSIDE INFORMATION FROM THE COLLEGE FOOTBALL WORLD EACH WEEK

CBS College Sports Network’s fall studio programming returns as the college football season heats up. For the second consecutive year, THE TONY BARNHART SHOW, INSIDE COLLEGE FOOTBALL and SEC POST GAME SHOW PRESENTED BY GEICO anchor the Network’s line-up, offering viewers all the latest news, notes, highlights and inside information from the college football world.

THE TONY BARNHART SHOW and INSIDE COLLEGE FOOTBALL return for the season on Tuesday, August 31 and SEC POST GAME SHOW PRESENTED BY GEICO follows CBS Sports’ coverage of Florida at Tennessee on Saturday, September 18.

The Network debuts two new shows this season, CBS COLLEGE SPORTS’ LINE-UP, airing each Thursday and COLLEGE FOOTBALL CONFIDENTIAL broadcast over six Fridays during the season.

Below is a description of all the Network’s shows, including announcers, air dates and times.

THE TONY BARNHART SHOW PRESENTED BY BASS PRO SHOPS (Tuesdays at 9:00 PM) – “Mr. College Football,” Tony Barnhart begins his second season as host of the weekly, one-hour primetime college football talk show. The hard-hitting program debates and analyzes the hot topics and issues facing college football on and off-the-field.

INSIDE COLLEGE FOOTBALL (Tuesdays at 10:00 PM) – Offers a preview of the upcoming weekend college football action with opinion, insight and analysis of the most significant storylines and match-ups across the country.  Hosted by Adam Zucker, along with analysts Aaron Taylor, Randy Cross and Brian Jones.

SEC POST GAME SHOW PRESENTED BY GEICO (Saturdays at 7:00 PM) – Following the conclusion of CBS Sports’ SEC Game of the Week, analysts Brian Jones and Phillip Fulmer provide an all-encompassing look at the day’s SEC action.

CBS COLLEGE SPORTS’ LINEUP (Thursdays at 7:30 PM) – A new, weekly 30-minute show hosted by CBS Sports’ Tracy Wolfson that previews the weekend college football action, focusing on the teams, players and coaches that will be featured on CBS College Sports Network.

SEC TAILGATE (Select Saturdays at 2:00 PM) – From the site of CBS Sports’ SEC Game of the Week, host Dave Baker along with reporter Lauren Shehadi, bring fans a fast paced and authoritative look at football and life in the SEC.  The show captures all the excitement, traditions and festivities from the various campuses and stadiums across the SEC, and features local SEC legends and celebrity alumni.

COLLEGE FOOTBALL CONFIDENTIAL (Select Fridays at 7:00 PM) – A new series consisting of six, 30 minute shows that bring fans behind-the-scenes with teams as they practice and prepare for Saturday.  CBS College Sports Network will embed with a different Mountain West Conference or Conference USA team, providing an all-access look at their game-week experience through meetings, film sessions, weight training, traditions and more.

INSIDE COLLEGE FOOTBALL EXTRA (Saturdays at 11:30 PM) – Join Host Adam Zucker and analyst Brian Jones to relive all the day’s college football action with comprehensive news and highlights.

MAXPREPS LEMMING REPORT (Thursdays at 8:00 or 11:30 PM) – Hosted by Tom Lemming, the country’s leading college football recruiting expert, MAXPREPS LEMMING REPORT examines the nation’s top prep football players with highlights, news and analysis.

CBS COLLEGE SPORTS NETWORK KICKS OFF EIGHTH COLLEGE FOOTBALL SEASON

Network Home to Armed Forces Football, Mountain West and Conference USA

CBS College Sports Network kicks off its eighth season of college football coverage with an extensive lineup of games, broadcasting 43 games throughout the 2010 season, featuring the best of the Mountain West Conference, Conference USA, Navy, Army plus a slate of NCAA Division II games.

The Network’s Division I coverage begins Saturday, September, 4 (7:00 PM, ET) as Washington plays BYU, with special live pre-game and post-game coverage from the BYU campus to kick-off the season.  Dave Ryan, Aaron Taylor and Brooke Olzendam call the game. Adam Zucker and Brian Jones anchor the pre and post game.

For the second consecutive year, CBS College Sports Network serves as the broadcast home of Armed Forces football and will dedicate a special day of programming to our nation’s Armed Forces and service academies on Saturday, October 30.  Coverage is highlighted by a tripleheader featuring home games from each of the service academies: VMI at Army (12:00 NOON, ET), Duke at Navy (3:30 PM, ET) concluding with Utah at
Air Force (7:30 PM, ET), along with special studio programming throughout the day.

Army leads off its home schedule on CBS College Sports Network against Hawaii on Saturday, Sept. 11 (12:00 NOON, ET).  The Black Knight’s broadcast schedule features five games on the Network this season.  The Network will again broadcast the complete slate of Navy home games, highlighted by matchups against Southern Miss (9/11) and SMU (10/16).

CBS College Sports Network enters its fifth year as a broadcast partner of the Mountain West Conference and sixth year with Conference USA, and will again showcase top match-ups including: North Carolina State at UCF (9/11), Boise State at Wyoming (9/18), Houston at SMU (10/23), Air Force at TCU (10/23), TCU at Utah (11/6), and BYU at Utah (11/27).
