ESPN2 has added the Phoenix Mercury at Minnesota Lynx on Saturday, June 27 – the return of Brittney Griner after a seven-game league suspension. The 8 p.m. game will be called by Pam Ward, analyst Rebecca Lobo and reporter Holly Rowe, who will also provide reports on SportsCenter throughout the day. Mechelle Voepel will report on site for espnW.
As a result, The Chicago Sky at Phoenix Mercury game on Tuesday, July 28, will no longer air on ESPN2.
ESPN2’s coverage continues tonight (June 23) at 8 p.m., showcasing Ivory Latta, Stef Dolson and the Washington Mystics hosting Nneka Ogwumike, Jantel Lavender and the Los Angeles Sparks. Ward and analyst Carolyn Peck will call the game.
On Tuesday, June 30, the New York Liberty travel to the Chicago Sky at 8 p.m. on ESPN2, while earlier in the night the Indiana Fever play at the Connecticut Sun in a matchup on ESPN3.
