Leonsis’s Capitals will be featured in the upcoming NHL reality series, set to air exclusively on HBO. The series will focus on the spirited rivalry between the Pittsburgh Penguins and the Washington Capitals. A special 12-minute preview, “Preview to 24/7 Penguins/Capitals: Road To The NHL Winter Classic” will debut this Sunday, Nov. 21 at 12:15 a.m. ET and will serve as a primer to the all-access acclaimed series and an introduction of the players and coaches from the Penguins and Capitals.
The Capitals and rival Penguins will meet in the NHL’s Bridgestone Winter Classic on New Year’s Day at Heinz Field in Pittsburgh.
NHL Hour with Commissioner Gary Bettman broadcasts live on Thursdays from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. ET on NHL Home Ice (XM Channel 204 and on SIRIUS Channel 208 as part of the “Best of XM” programming package) and NHL.com.
