STAMFORD, Conn. – May 22, 2019 – Four-time Olympic diving medalist David Boudia and the U.S. Diving Championships, part of the 2019 Team USA Champions Series, presented by Xfinity, highlight Olympic sports programming this week across NBC Sports platforms. All Olympic sports coverage televised and streamed across NBC Sports platforms is presented by Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA.
On Saturday, May 25, at 12:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN and continuing later that day at 2 p.m. ET on NBC, the nation’s top divers descend on Indianapolis, Indiana for the U.S. Diving Championships. The Championships serve as the selection event for divers to qualify to compete at the 2019 Pan American Games and World Championships.
The field is highlighted by Boudia, who took a break from the sport following a concussion in early 2018 and will seek to make his first World Championship team since 2015. Boudia won all four of his Olympic medals on platform, but made the switch to springboard last year.
Paul Burmeister (play-by-play) will call the action alongside Olympic diving bronze medalist Cynthia Potter (analyst) and Olympic figure skating silver medalist Tanith White (reporter).
The 2019 Team USA Champions Series, presented by Xfinity, includes eight Olympic sports and highlights the journey of Team USA athletes leading up to the Olympic Games (Tokyo 2020) and Olympic Winter Games (Beijing 2022).
