STAMFORD, Conn. – February 8, 2016 – NASCAR America returns tonight at 5 p.m. ET on NBCSN with special guest NASCAR Sprint Cup driver Aric Almirola, live from Burton’s Garage in Charlotte. Just days away from the Daytona 500, Almirola joins NASCAR on NBC analysts Jeff Burton and Steve Letarte tonight, and Kyle Petty tomorrow to discuss what teams, crew chiefs and drivers are doing to prepare.
With major news expected to come from NASCAR during Tuesday afternoon’s press conference, NASCAR America addresses and deliberates changes from all angles, including Marty Snider’s interview with NASCAR Chairman Brian France.
Fifteen-years since Dale Earnhardt’s passing, Wednesday’s NASCAR America examines the evolution of safety in NASCAR. A condensed 30-minute edition of the show airs live Friday, Feb. 12 at 6 p.m. ET, as cars hit the track again at Daytona International Speedway.
Dave Briggs hosts NASCAR America this week from Stamford, CT, alongside Dale Jarrett and Parker Kligerman who join him in-studio later in the week. Snider and Dave Burns report from the race shops in Charlotte.

Covering a wide-range of topics in the world of racing, NBC Sports’ new weekly NASCAR podcast includes freewheeling discussions with NASCAR on NBC analysts and reporters. NBCSports.com’s lead motorsports writer Nate Ryan hosts the discussions, available each Thursday on NASCAR Talk and iTunes.

The Sprint Cup Championship race from Miami was the most-watched NASCAR season finale in a decade and set a NASCAR live streaming traffic record for NBC Sports Live Extra. Five of NBCSN’s top 10 most-watched telecasts in the network’s history are 2015 NASCAR Sprint Cup races, and NASCAR powered NBCSN to its most-watched year on record. The NASCAR on NBC Facebook page established 308M total impressions on content in 2015, while the @NASCARonNBC twitter handle closed out 2015 with 77K Total Followers, a growth of 303% over the previous year.
