Turner Sports continues its 2013 NASCAR Sprint Cup Summer Series coverage with the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series from Kentucky presented by KFC from Kentucky Speedway on Saturday, June 29, at 7:30 p.m. ET. TNT’s NASCAR Summer Series coverage will begin with the pre-race Countdown to Green presented by Kelley Blue Book at 6:30 p.m.
Adam Alexander will call the race and host the pre-race show with analysts Kyle Petty, Wally Dallenbach and Larry McReynolds. In addition, veteran reporters Ralph Sheheen, Marty Snider, Matt Yocum and Chris Neville will patrol pit road to bring viewers comprehensive coverage and access prior to and during the race.
TNT’s Countdown to Green presented by Kelley Blue Book continues to showcase weekly features highlighting different drivers and their lives on-and-off the racetrack, while also previewing the week’s race. This week’s coverage will follow 24-time NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race winner Kurt Busch. TNT cameras are embedded with Busch and his team over the course of the week as they travel from the west coast to Kentucky and prepare for this week’s race in the bluegrass state.
Additionally, TNT’s Matt Yocum will visit with Kevin Harvick, 17-time NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race winner. The two will discuss Harvick’s fitness training regimen including his use of a heart rate monitor during races.
