BELOW ARE SELECT HIGHLIGHTS FROM THIS WEEK’S EDITION
On Last Sunday’s Bengals’ vs. Colts…
Boomer Esiason – “The Cincinnati Bengals have a lack of fire. There’s no leadership there. There’s no toughness. There’s no just getting in your face. There is no “Terrell Suggs” on the Cincinnati Bengals. Maybe that should be Geno Atkins, maybe that should be Ray Maualuga. It’s certainly not Andy Dalton and without Jermaine Gresham and A.J. Green, basically, I’ll tell you what, they looked lifeless to me.”
On Cowboys vs. Packers…
Boomer Esiason – “The Dallas Cowboys have all the ingredients to go out there on the road and play defense with your offense … Something tells me that something is happening for the Dallas Cowboys.”
Brandon Marshall – “I think the biggest ‘X Factor’ here is Aaron Rodgers’ calf right now. If he’s healthy, all that other stuff goes out the window. But it’s hard to go against the Dallas Cowboys right now. You have everybody cheering for them, even governors of other states.”
On Rex Ryan’s Coaching the 49ers…
Brandon Marshall – “If Rex Ryan goes to the 49ers, look out NFL.”
On New England at Baltimore…
Phil Simms – “If Baltimore doesn’t run the football well they are going to have no chance of winning this game.”
Boomer Esiason – “This might be best overall team that Bill Belichick has ever had, and that goes against that 18-1 team … The one thing about these Baltimore Ravens, they are a big, strong, physical, veteran football team that doesn’t get intimidated by anything. But I do like New England in this game. Nobody, I mean nobody on planet Earth can cover Rob Gronkowski.”
