The U.S. Snowboarding and Freeskiing Grand Prix wraps up its 2012 Tour in Mammoth Mountain, California
New York – March 8, 2012 – Top snowboarders and skiers will participate in snowboard halfpipe and skiing slopestyle competitions in the difficult and unique terrain of Mammoth Mountain. The four-day event in California features halfpipe favorites David Wise, the first person to ever perform a double corked 1260 in the halfpipe, and 2010 Junior World Champion Noah Bowman. Women competing in the halfpipe include 2011 Winter X Game silver medalist Rita Sigourney, and Maddie Bowman, winner of the 2012 Dew Tour Pantech Invitational freeski pipe.
Talented slopestyle competitors include 2009 breakout hit and 2012 Breckenridge Dew Tour winner Tom Wallisch, Armada-ski team rider Alex Bellemare, Canadian freestyle skier Kaya Turski, and all-around skier Devin Logan.
