Due to impending inclement weather on the East Coast from Hurricane Irene, “Sunday MLB on TBS” has changed their schedule and will head to Milwaukee on August 26 with a National League Central showdown between Prince Fielder and the division-leading Brewers hosting Aramis Ramirez and the Chicago Cubs at 2 p.m. (ET). Play-by-play announcer Ernie Johnson will call the game alongside analyst John Smoltz in the broadcast booth. “Sunday MLB on TBS” was originally scheduled to air the New York Yankees @ Baltimore Orioles.
“Sunday MLB on TBS” includes match-ups on TBS every Sunday afternoon throughout the regular season. Beginning on September 30, TBS will once again provide exclusive coverage of the four Division Series and the National League Championship Series (NLCS).
TBS has served as the exclusive home of Major League Baseball’s Division Series (DS) and one League Championship Series (LCS) since 2007, has broadcasted MLB games for more than 30 years and was home of the Atlanta Braves from 1977-2007.
