STAMFORD, Conn. – May 15, 2019 – NBC Sports’ exclusive coverage of the Stanley Cup Playoffs continues tonight with Game 3 of the Western Conference Final at 8 p.m. ET on NBCSN, as Logan Couture and the San Jose Sharks face Vladimir Tarasenko and the St. Louis Blues with the series tied at one game apiece.
Kenny Albert (play-by-play), Joe Micheletti (analyst), and Emmy-award winner Pierre McGuire (‘Inside-the-Glass’ analyst) will have the call from Enterprise Center in St. Louis. Jeremy Roenick will provide on-site reports from St. Louis throughout tonight’s coverage.

WESTERN CONFERENCE FINAL GAME 3 – SAN JOSE SHARKS AT ST. LOUIS BLUES – TONIGHT AT 8 P.M. ET ON NBCSN
St. Louis evened the Western Conference Final with a 4-2 victory over San Jose in Game 2 at SAP Center on Monday night. Defenseman Robert Bortuzzo scored the tie-breaking goal late in the second period for the Blue, which later proved to be the game-winner. Jaden Schwartz, Vince Dunn, and Oskar Sundqvist also scored in the win for the Blues. Logan Couture netted both San Jose goals and leads all skaters in points (19) and goals (13) in the Stanley Cup Playoffs. The Western Conference Final moves to St. Louis for tonight’s Game 3 and Friday’s Game 4.
EASTERN CONFERENCE FINAL GAME 4 – BOSTON BRUINS AT CAROLINA HURRICANES – THURSDAY AT 8 P.M. ET ON NBCSN
The Bruins took a commanding 3-0 Eastern Conference Final lead last night with a 2-1 victory over the Hurricanes in Game 3. Goalie Tuukka Rask continued his dominant postseason, making 35 saves on 36 shots in last night’s win. Chris Wagner and Brad Marchand each scored for Boston, who now have the chance to sweep the best-of-7 series on Thursday night in Carolina for their first Stanley Cup Final appearance since 2013.
Six-time Emmy-award winner Mike “Doc” Emrick (play-by-play), U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame member Eddie Olczyk (analyst), and Brian Boucher (‘Inside-the-Glass’ analyst) will have the call from PNC Arena in Raleigh, N.C.
2019 STANLEY CUP PLAYOFFS CONTINUE TO BE MOST-WATCHED ON RECORD
Through Monday night, the 2019 Stanley Cup Playoffs have averaged a Total Audience Delivery (TAD) of 1.125 million viewers across the networks of NBCUniversal, ranking as the best on record at this point in the playoffs.
Through the first four games, the 2019 Conference Finals averaged a TAD of 2.030 million viewers, the best in six years (2013, 2.423 million). Monday night’s Blues-Sharks Game 2 on NBCSN averaged a TAD of 1.475 million viewers, up 14% vs. the comparable game last year and up 28% vs. the same matchup in 2016 (1.150 million).
Last night’s Bruins-Hurricanes Game 3 on NBCSN delivered a 1.53 overnight rating, up 20% vs. the comparable game last year (TB-Bos, 1.27). Boston delivered a 17.2 local rating, while Raleigh scored a 6.2 NBCSN was the No. 1 network in both markets during the game.

The On Her Turf brand launches “Hockey is for Her” today, a new short-form digital video series highlighting high-profile women involved in hockey, through the remainder of the 2019 Stanley Cup Playoffs.
The women highlighted in the series will inspire fans with their stories in all areas of hockey – whether they work for the NHL, work in media, hold a position in a league organization, play hockey, are the mothers of players, or simply are fans of the sport. The first episode features Canadian Olympic-medalist Manon Rheaume and tell her story as a former professional goaltender, and the first woman to ever play in an NHL game.
The series will live on the @NHLonNBC social handles as well as the @OnHerTurf Instagram account.
