Leading sports medicine doctors offer listeners tips for peak physical fitness
Experts break down the latest pro sports injuries, news and treatment techniques
NEW YORK– November 8, 2010 – SIRIUS XM Radio (NASDAQ: SIRI) today announced the launch of a new weekly sports medicine show on Doctor Radio, the 24/7 health and medical channel featuring live, call-in shows hosted by leading NYU Langone Medical Center doctors.
Doctor Radio’s sports medicine show is hosted by Laith Jazrawi, MD, assistant professor in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at NYU Langone Medical Center, Chief of the Division of Sports Medicine and Director of the Surgical Skills Lab and Sports & Shoulder/Elbow Research Laboratory, and Joseph Bosco, MD, Vice Chair for Clinical Affairs, assistant professor in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at NYU Langone Medical Center and former team doctor for the New York Mets. The show will air live every Thursday from 6:00 – 8:00 am ET on Doctor Radio, SIRIUS channel 114 and XM channel 119, and replay Thursdays from 4:00 – 6:00 pm ET. Dennis A. Cardone, DO, clinical associate professor in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at NYU Langone Medical Center, will be a regular on-air contributor.
