Network rounds home on regular-season coverage with Bases Loaded special Friday
For the first time, every round of the Southeastern Conference Baseball Tournament will be nationally televised, with at least 60 hours of coverage between live action and on-site studio shows on SEC Network. The new network will televise the first, second, third, quarterfinal and semifinal rounds of the tournament – a total of at least 16 games. The championship game will air on ESPN2.
Leading into next week’s coverage, SEC Network will surround Friday’s regular-season matchups with live-lookins across the southeast as teams vie for the last four spots in the tournament and several teams look to strengthen their resumes for seeding in the NCAA tournament. The network will whip around between the five SEC baseball games with a 4.5-hour SEC Network Bases Loaded special on Friday, May 15 beginning at 6 p.m. ET/ 5 p.m. CT. Seven Women’s College World Series regional round softball games (full schedule) featuring SEC teams may also be included. Every game will also be available live and full on WatchESPN as either an SEC Network + or ESPN3 event. Full schedule below.

SEC Baseball Tournament on SEC Network
In addition to complete coverage of the SEC Baseball Tournament for the first time on national television, SEC Network will over the most extensive coverage of the tournament to date, surrounding the games with expert analysis and interviews with the flagship news show SEC Now. The show will air multiple times each day for five days from Hoover Met Stadium in Hoover, Ala. The desk will report all of the happenings pre- and post-game from the set’s location in the First Base Picnic area.
Dari Nowkhah or Peter Burns will host alongside a rotation of experts and reporters that include Chris Burke, Gabe Gross, Ben McDonald, Kyle Peterson, Kayce Smith and Laura Rutledge.

The SEC Network
The Southeastern Conference and ESPN have signed a 20-year agreement through 2034 to create and operate a multiplatform network which launched August 14, 2014. The new network and its accompanying digital platform will carry SEC content 24/7 including more than 1,000 events in its first year. The network will televise 45 SEC football games, more than 100 men’s basketball games, 60 women’s basketball games, 75 baseball games, and events from across the SEC’s 21 sports annually. Programming will also include in-depth commentary and analysis in studio shows, daily news and information, original content such as SEC Storied, spring football games, and more. AT&T U-verse® TV, Bright House Networks, Charter, Comcast Xfinity TV, Cox Communications, DIRECTV, DISH, Google Fiber, LUS Fiber, Mediacom, PTC Communications, Suddenlink, Time Warner Cable, Wilkes Telephone, and members of the NCTC, NRTC and NTTC and will carry the television network nationwide at launch.
